L'itinéraire permet aux visiteurs d'apprécier au mieux les monuments symboliques de l'Ancienne Terre de Liberté. En se promenant dans les rues médiévales typiques, ils exploreront la vieille ville, classée au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO, en commençant par l'ancienne porte Saint-François, principal accès aux remparts de la ville, pour atteindre la Piazzetta del Titano, en continuant à découvrir la caractéristique carrière des arbalétriers.
À travers l'art et la tradition, vous passez du Cantone Panoramico au cœur de la ville : la Piazza della Libertà et le Palazzo Pubblico (Place de la Liberté et Palais Public), siège des plus anciennes institutions de la République.
La visite se poursuit jusqu'à la fascinante Basilique du Saint, l'église principale, puis monte jusqu'au sommet du Mont Titano, en découvrant la vue sur les tours qui dominent le panorama.
Nous terminerons la visite par l'évocateur Passo delle Streghe (Col des Sorcières), d'où l'on peut admirer une vue imprenable sur la Riviera Adriatique depuis un lieu unique et magique.

I enjoyed this walking tour of the San Marino’s historic old town, even if it only lasted a couple of hours. The tour started when I met my guide, Andrea, at 10 am just outside the Porta San Francesco gate that led into the old town. Andrea took me walking through notable locations within the old town and he did a great job explaining to me the history of San Marino throughout the entire tour. The tour ended with us stopping by the Tourist Office to get my passport the San Marino stamp (FYI, for a fee of 5 Euros) and then stopping at a local spot called La Loggia for local food and wine tasting to end the tour. After I did the food and wine tasting I continued to explore the old town on my own with the tips and knowledge my guide gave me. Overall, I enjoyed this walking tour of San Marino and a big thank you to Andrea for the great job he did showing me around and introducing me to this wonderful and unique country. Definitely consider booking this private short walking tour, you’ll get invaluable tips and insight on the history of this country by a local. I highly recommend it! - Nolan
