Itinéraire
Un palais de style Tudor construit en 1887 par Chamaraja Wodeyar. Inspiré du château de Windsor, il présente des tours fortifiées, des intérieurs en bois et des jardins luxuriants. Des audioguides sont disponibles pour explorer son histoire royale.
Vidhan Soudha - Un magnifique bâtiment en granit et siège de la législature du Karnataka. Connu comme le « Taj Mahal de l'Inde du Sud », il met en valeur l'architecture néo-dravidienne et semble superbe pour la photographie. Attara Kacheri - Situé en face de Vidhana Soudha, ce bâtiment remarquable de l'époque coloniale rouge (construit en 1868) abrite la Haute Cour du Karnataka. Entouré de verdure et d'un spot photo populaire.
Construit au 18ème siècle avec des arcs en bois de teck, des balcons et des fresques. Une fois la retraite d'été de Tipu Sultan, connu comme le "tigre de Mysore." Un musée à l'intérieur expose des armes, des artefacts et des peintures.
Construit à l'origine par Kempe Gowda en 1537, puis agrandi par Tipu Sultan. Bien qu'il n'en reste qu'une petite partie aujourd'hui, la porte de Delhi et les murs du fort reflètent les débuts historiques de Bangalore.
Une oasis verte de 300 hectares dans la ville avec des sentiers pédestres, des statues et des bâtiments patrimoniaux. Parfait pour une promenade détendue en soirée, la photographie, ou même un trajet en train jouet pour les familles.

The good: The service provided consisted of the driver who took us to the listed places and his help in buying the tickets. They gave us a printed guide with information about the places. The driver was extremely attentive and the car was in good condition; we asked him to take us to eat and he waited for us before dropping us off at the hotel. Due to the driving style and the complicated city traffic, renting a car is not a good option. The not so good: I was expecting a guide who would explain the places to us. The "guide" is only a driver. The cost is high compared to Uber or transportation services.
Recently took a Bangalore city tour and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The travel arrangements were well organized and the driver was very cooperative and knowledgeable about the city routes. We enjoyed visiting major attractions and the entire journey felt safe and comfortable. Thank you for providing such professional and reliable service. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

The trip was completely memorable. We really loved the early morning fog and the cool climate. The driver was polite. The car was very clean, and they drove safely.
Enjoyed the Bangalore city day private tour. Booked on phone direct with Rashika. She was Very courteous , helpful and flexible. Saw what we wanted. Timings were flexible as we went along to meet our needs . Ended up being 9-5pm. Our Driver drove very well and safely and the car was clean , modern and comfy. Pickup /drop off at our hotel. Do tip the driver generously like we did if you’re happy. They work so hard but don’t earn like we do in the west. Saw the parliament, Palace, fort, Tipu Sultan palace, botanical park and gardens, Bull temple etc Lunch as recommended at veg authentic restaurant. An experience. However would’ve preferred non veg.
Booked a tour of Banglore on Viator that allegedly included an "expert local guide". Wound up just having a taxi booked for me to drive me around Bangalore. The driver took us from place to place and waited for us, but nobody actually told us anything about Banglore or the sights. What's the point of paying $$ for a tour then? The driver was amicable, but ultimately I paid 4x what it should have cost to get a 8 hour taxi rental with no actual service provided by the tour company. Tour company says the guide was not included in our package but "their marketing department forgot to delete it from the description". No attempt made to remediate the issue when I raised it, they just told me "not to take it personally". Company is probably fine but I'd advise reading the inclusions and verifying everything very carefully before using them.
I booked a family trip with Bangalore Tours and Travels. They helped me to book my tickets and hotel without any rush in this holiday season. I was not bothered about anything during my trip. Proper arrangements of everything was taken care of. Overall, had a very good experience with them.
