Description
Nous visiterons la Serra de Sintra ou Mons Lunae comme disaient les Romains. Sur le Monte da Lua, le mysticisme persiste encore aujourd'hui. Nous commencerons par une visite guidée d'un authentique palais de conte de fées, le palais de Pena. Nous nous dirigerons ensuite vers la mystérieuse Quinta da Regaleira, où nous visiterons le puits initiatique et découvrirons l'histoire de ses jardins exotiques, de ses grottes énigmatiques et de son architecture maçonnique. Nous explorerons les rues étroites du village de Sintra et vous donnerons du temps libre pour déjeuner et déguster les friandises typiques de la région (travesseiro) à la célèbre pâtisserie "Piriquita". Après le déjeuner, nous traverserons les montagnes en passant par les villages voisins pour atteindre Cabo da Roca, le point le plus occidental de l'Europe continentale. ◉ Limité à 8 personnes pour une expérience personnalisée ◉ Nous venons vous chercher à votre hôtel (centre de Lisbonne)

Nous vous emmenons au sommet de la chaîne de montagnes de Sintra pour visiter l'intérieur du palais de Pena, le plus grand représentant du romantisme du XIXe siècle au Portugal. Attraction principale du Sintra Tour.
Maison d'un Seigneur ayant appartenu à la Franc-Maçonnerie avec son jardin énigmatique et même un Puits Initiatoire, une tour inversée de près de 30 mètres de profondeur avec une sortie par des grottes. Magique et inoubliable.
Temps libre pour déjeuner et faire du shopping et en savoir un peu plus sur le village de Sintra.
Pour finir de la meilleure façon, nous irons au point le plus occidental de l'Europe continentale, autour du phare, à environ 150 mètres au-dessus du niveau de la mer, où vous pourrez avoir une vue complète sur la Serra de Sintra et la côte.

We loved our tour with Renata. We have had many guides during our travels over the years and Renata is definitely one of the best. She is a great communicator and good at sharing interesting details and history without it being information overload. The tour was well paced and we had time to enjoy the experience without feeling rushed. We also had some time to ourselves for a morning tea break and also a lunch break in the historic heart of Sintra which was very nice. Renata is also a great photographer and was happy to take photos of and for us; she knew all the best ways to capture those memorable and creative shots. Renata's tour was very well organised and she is friendly and personable with a lovely positive energy. Prior to our tour I contacted Renata directly via the Cascais Tours website with a couple of questions and she was very responsive. Had such an amazing day in Sintra with Renata. Although it was rainy, she made sure we still had an unforgettable experience. There are lots of stairs to climb but every step is worth the experience. Incredible sights at the Palace. The park is “the plumb” of the tour and offers flowing water, tunnels, towers and a “can’t miss” well. Sintra is gorgeous. The Guide was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable - she was a fun person to spend the day with.

Renata was an amazing host from start to finish. Booking the tour was as easy as 1-2-3. As soon as I confirmed, she sent us the links to purchase tickets for the two main attractions - Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira - so everything was perfectly organized. I did this about 1 month in advance of the tour date. Choosing this tour was absolutely the best decision; we breezed through all the lines without any hassle. We were a group of eight, and hiring Renata made for the perfect private day trip. We all rode comfortably in a luxurious Mercedes 4WD for the entire day, sitting a maximum of 8 passengers. Her knowledge of Sintra’s history, art, culture, and even the local flora and fauna made the experience truly enriching.
