This was an awesome ride. You have to be in fairly good shape and be an experienced bike rider. Expect to get sweaty and dirty! But great fun!
This was a fabulous experience! We discovered places we would never otherwise have seen: both the catacombs and the Appian way are mind blowing, and the biking itself was unexpectedly enjoyable. We did the tour with limited biking experience, but coped very well - even in 37 degrees. Adriana was an excellent guide who made the historic places come alive, a d who expertly guided us through the traffic and then the back roads. I would highly recommend this tour.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback. I’m happy you enjoyed exploring the Catacombs and the Appian Way, and that the ride felt manageable even in the high temperature. Adriana will be very pleased to hear your kind words — she always guides with attention and passion. Thanks again for recommending the tour.
We had a great tour - it was just my wife and I and our tour guide Adriana. She was very knowledgeable and guided us easily on our bikes through the streets and paths. She answered our questions and made it very enjoyable. Would recommend this tour and asking for Adriana by name.
Thank you for sharing your great experience! We’re very glad that your tour with Adriana was enjoyable and that her knowledge and guidance made you feel comfortable throughout the ride. She’s an excellent guide, and I will gladly pass along your compliments to her, along with my own. We hope to see you again on your next visit to Rome.
We had an incredible tour with Adriana. We had never driven e-bikes before but she made us feel so comfortable and confident as soon as we headed out. She was very safety conscious always pointing out any potential risks or busy areas. Her detailed accounts of the history of Rome and the aqua ducts combined with the artifacts and structures along the way was very impressive. Not only did we venture down the Appian Way we went through a beautiful green park and in to several residential areas. The Catacomb tour was both emotional and informative. A very special piece of Roman history. We encourage anyone of any age (we are in our 60’s) to take this tour and enjoy all that we did. Adriana made it an amazing experience. Rob and Lee-Ann

The tour was fantastic and the tour guide had a great knowledge of Rome History. The E-Bikes are great to use instead of a normal bike. If you are not in average shape you will be a little tired at the end of this tour. I was!, but I'm still glad that I took this tour.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We truly appreciate your support and look forward to welcoming you again soon.
We had a fantastic tour with our guide Frederick. He was very informative & knowledgeable on the historical sites we visited. The e bikes were of high standard & we had the best fun.
Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re so glad to hear that your tour with Frederick turned into such a fun and memorable ride. He has a great way of bringing the history around you to life, and it’s wonderful to know his stories added something special to your day. And we’re happy the e‑bikes delivered exactly what they’re meant to — smooth riding, lots of comfort, and plenty of smiles along the way. Thanks again for taking the time to leave this review. We’d love to welcome you back for another adventure on two wheels!
We had an amazing e-bike tour with Philippo thru the less urban part of Rome. Took a number of stops to learn about and see many ancient Roman ruins, like the Baths of Caracalla. We stopped for a guided tour at the Catacombs which were fascinating. But for us, the best part was riding along the Appian Way, seeing the countryside, and up seeing the numerous Roman aqueducts up close. As someone in their mid 50s who hadn’t ridden a bike in probably 10 years and never ridden an e-bike, this was a great experience. Go for it— get away from the crowds or Rome and enjoy an adventure. Note… the roads are slightly bumpy. And at times you are on street alongside cars. I never felt scared though.
Dear Catherine, thank you so much for your kind words! The Appian Way is something everyone coming to Rome should experience!
The Apian way sites & story’s were amazing. It was lovely to be in the midst of it all. Adriana was professional and had a wealth of knowledge. She was flexible with what we wanted to do as well .the catacombes were amazing and other sites along the way. Facts regarding the appian way were so informative. A beautiful scenic tour .
Dear Adriano, thanks for sharing your experience with us and for the excellent review!
