Ce n'est pas votre visite culinaire moyenne, c'est un voyage à travers le quartier des îles du Qatar, du charme luxueux des diverses enceintes de The Pearl à l'énergie vibrante de Gewan Island, guidé par quelqu'un qui connaît parfaitement ces quartiers. Un des rares circuits à Doha personnellement accueilli par un résident de toujours – pas de scripts génériques, juste des histoires réelles et une véritable hospitalité. Vous ne vous contenterez pas de goûter à la nourriture, vous explorerez des canaux pastels, vous promènerez sur les promenades en bord de mer et dégusterez des bouchées que vous ne trouverez jamais sans un aperçu d'initiés. Avec des arrêts adaptés à la saison, le parcours est soigneusement préparé pour le confort, la saveur et la découverte. En été, nous réduisons la marche à pied et utilisons le transport A/C; les mois plus frais, vous passerez plus de temps à l'extérieur à profiter de la vue. Sirotez un thé Karak près de la marina, goûtez à la cuisine de rue authentique du Moyen-Orient et terminez votre expérience avec du café arabe et une promenade en bateau panoramique à travers la marina bordée d'îles de The Pearl. Itinéraire
Commencez votre expérience à la station de métro Legtaifiya, où votre sympathique guide local vous attendra. De là, vous voyagerez ensemble à The Pearl-Qatar dans un transport confortable de climatisation. Cette balade panoramique donne le ton à votre soirée immersive à venir – remplie de saveurs, d’histoires et de joyaux cachés dans l’un des quartiers les plus pittoresques du front de mer de la ville.
Après un court trajet en voiture, vous arriverez à Qanat Quartier, un charmant quartier rempli de canaux colorés et d'architecture d'inspiration européenne - le décor idéal pour votre première dégustation locale, un délicieux shawarma.
Ensuite, nous continuerons vers Viva Bahriya, un quartier paisible en bord de mer connu pour son sable doré et son ambiance détendue. Ici, vous aurez le temps d'apprécier le paysage et de prendre de superbes photos.
De là, nous nous dirigeons vers Porto Arabia, l'élégante promenade du front de mer, où vous siroterez un thé traditionnel Karak et dégusterez un chapati au fromage chaud avec vue sur la marina.
La visite se déplace ensuite à Medina Centrale, le cœur de la vie locale à The Pearl. Vous goûterez des kebabs persans fumés, des Kunafa sucrés et gluants, et terminerez par une riche tasse de café arabe.
À Crystal Walk sur l’île Gewan, nous nous détendrons avec un café arabe traditionnel dans un café local avant d’embarquer sur un bateau pour Qanat Quartier. Nous ferons une croisière dans ses charmants canaux, puis nous retournerons à Gewan par l’eau.

Emad is a great guide. Very good casual food. Large portions. Boat is very nice. The ride is comfortable, to see the lights of the city.

Emad was an incredible tour guide and showed us around the entire Pearl Island with some incredible food as well - we were so full at the end. The boat tour of the islands at night was incredible as well. It’s a small group tour to keep things intimate - it is well worth the price and the length of the tour is perfect as well!

Emad was our tour guide and he was simply amazing. The tastings were amazing and we had a great time. The tour was thorough, insightful and we learned a lot. He made room For questions, we shared jokes and had great conversations. He was very relatable and knowledgeable. He took his time with the tour to make sure we got the best experience. This was the best tour of our entire trip. 100% recommend.

Enthusiastic, knowledgeable young guide (whose name escapes me). Took us to the modern sights of Doha. More of a tour of Pearl Island with tasty traditional snacks along the way completed by a relaxing electric boat tour of the central marina area. Spectacular lighting at the end of the tour on the extremely modern buildings along with a commentary about Doha daily life. Clean, tidy air cond. car and pick up from our hotel. A great way to see some of Doha, be fed and while away an afternoon/evening.

What a wonderful 5 hours we had with Imad. I searched hard to find a unique food & sightseeing tour and this did not disappoint. Imad was both friendly and knowledgeable and we learnt so much from him, The food stops were also great - would have loved more food history (maybe because I'm a foodie and also a food tour guide in my home city) but we had no complaints. It was a wonderful few hours and we highly recommend.

Out of the 7 food and drinks we got to sample we really only enjoyed 3 of them which is completely subjective. There was a lot more driving that I expected but the real downside for me was the tour guide constantly being on his phone either texting or on calls most of time he was driving us which is not only unprofessional but completely unsafe. He was also continuously lighting up to smoke during our tour which is again highly unprofessional and completely concerning for those of us with medical concerns like asthma that can’t handle being around smokers. The last stop for us was Arabic coffee which is not something I want to be drinking at almost 9pm so I didn’t partake. The boat ride was a nice feature but overall I can’t recommend both from a professional standpoint point and the fact it’s highly overpriced for what you get. Uber is so cheap in Doha just venture out for kebabs, Karak tea and Karen on your own and save a ton of money.

Had a 2 days stop over at Doha an did this food tour - would highly recommend it. Had a wonderful time with Emad. The food option’s were good - loved the shawarma the most. They were very thoughtful and made adjustment to my dietary preferences (only chicken). This tour had best of both worlds- walking across Perl and Jewan island as we explored our food joints and then boat ride with an up close view of the yatchs 🤩. The only change I would make it pick a 4pm slot instead of an 11am which made it super hot in the afternoon.
