This company went above and beyond (pardon the pun) to give my aunt an 80th birthday she'll never forget. They even participated in and filmed the surprise landing "party" with gifts and music and balloons and made her feel like a star, nit to mention giving her the confidence to do this at 80! A truly lovely, kind, caring, and highly capable team!
It was a fantastic experience. We throughly enjoyed it. Our pilots were excellent and made our last day in Cape Town memorable!
If you're coming to Cape Town & you want to get a bird's eye view with a dash of friendliness & professionalism thrown in, choose these guys! I can be cynical about service, but these guys are so sincere, they make you feel comfortable and secure. I'm a little scared of heights, but never feared with the wonderful Francois even when he asked if I wanted to ride the roller coaster, he gave me the option & it was a total thrill! A definite must do when coming to Cape Town. And, btw, I'm an oldie :-)
The team are all very experienced flyers, in a family business of flyers. They live to fly! My husband and I flew with Francois and Roland. The weather was not great initially so we went off and did other things, they kept in touch with us all day and when there was a window, we flew. They know the winds and the weather so well and as a novice, I trusted Roland totally. The kit is fitted and checked, and checked again. The instructions were clear and concise. We flew for 20 mins from Signal Hill to the beach landing ground, and the views were incredible. It was so exhilarating yet peacefully quiet in the air. It was an amazing experience and the guys really made all the effort to make it safely happen for us and to have the best time. I highly recommend this company.

The best paragliding experience I have done in any country. We got lucky and jumped from Lion’s head (the wind was just right), views were spectacular and we finished with some pro manoeuvres. A must do if staying in Cape Town!
Being afraid of heights, I was initially nervous and hesitant. But Francois was incredible and made me feel safe and relaxed during the whole flight, ensuring that I had the most amazing and unforgettable experience! Will definitely recommend Cape Hope Paragliding to anyone wanting to try this activity.
What a fabulous experience!! Dragged there by a friend and was so nervous. But Francois is so professional that in the end I ran the couple of steps and was then up in the air! The views from Lions Head were incredible. It is an amazing experience! Thank you Francois for making me brave!
