I had a wonderful experience at this Batik workshop in Kandy with my mother. It was truly one of a kind – something you don’t get to see or try just anywhere. The entire process was explained clearly and patiently, and we were guided through each step of creating our own batik art. What made it even more special was how personal and authentic the setting felt – the workshop takes place in a real home, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Both the mother and son who run the place are amazing – kind, talented, and passionate about what they do. You can feel how much they care. We also enjoyed a delicious homemade lunch during the workshop, which was a lovely surprise and added to the overall experience. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a hands-on, cultural, and meaningful activity while in Kandy!
