The top level where we had our Guiness was VERY busy. Expect standing room only. The tour was fantastic and the employees were very engaging. Loved the self-pace of it and the water-wall was amazing!
Really fun experience! We would highly recommend this self-paced tour. We now how to enjoy a Guiness properly!
Its not an actual "brewery tour", you don't go into the "real" brewery. You see videos and exhibits on how they make Guinness. The Gravity bar at the top is very cool, and the restaurants are great!
Check in was seamless and you get a drink voucher for the gravity bar on the 7th floor. They have a cafe and an opportunity to get a pint glass engraved. They had a band at one point. It was basically like a mall for all things Guinness and your ticket was admission. It was a good experience.
This is a definite must do when you visit Dublin. Touring the different floors of the storehouse and learning the process of making Guinness was interesting. But the rooftop bar was the icing on the cake. 360° views of Dublin from high atop the city was spectacular! You can go with your own pace so it can be as short or as long as you want it to be. Definitely do not miss getting your photo on top of the pint… Pretty amazing!

Self guided tour. Loved the information especially the advertising section. And of course the Guinness sample at the top was a great way to end the event.
We had an enjoyable visit to the Guinness Storehouse part of the historic St James brewing complex. It is a huge area and has a massive beer production. We booked our early morning slot through our Go city card and received a good discount due to the amount we used it, which made the tour very good value. We would recommend visiting early if you can as it does get very busy later on and the lesser crowd makes it a bit more relaxed in our experience. I would also praise the cafe on the lower floor and its excellent mini Guinness pint cake. The presentation through the attraction is slick and very good in the most part although we prefer to see at least part of the actual brewing process in a brewery tour. The ingredient section and the seasons part is well done, the history of the brands advertising is well worth seeing and nostalgic. The history of the Guinness family and the lease story is memorable and the tasting/sampling section very educational in preparation for your pint later. The pint of the black stuff you will receive in the rooftop bar is top notch and the views over Dublin are well worth seeing. On the level below there are a couple of restaurants if you require some food. You can easily spend 2 to 3 hours visiting here and the staff we encountered were friendly and professional in their actions. While appreciating the whole experience and it is worth doing for sure when you are in the city, really a must do in fact. It was more of a show/museum than a beer tour for us i'm afraid, but there is nothing wrong with that.
A great way to start off a trip to Dublin! This can take as much or as little time as you need - its a great Day 1 tour!
This was an interesting and informative tour for all ages. I really appreciated that they offered specialized sensory kits and sensory maps for autistic visitors. We enjoyed the views from the top and it took about 2 hours to tour.
