Expérience Guinness Storehouse

This was very overrated and commercial. You can more information on google. Good way to make money off tourism. Not sure how you spend 1.5 to 2 hours here. Big mistake and absolutely waste of money!

We had a nice walk to the Storehouse - it's massive! You can see the tasting room at the top from a good distance. The tour itself is self-paced, loaded with information, some interactive bits, and period films, such as how the made wooden kegs. All very interesting. We bought the full experience which include a pint in the tasting room - we had a typical September day in Ireland, clear so you could see the harbor to the hills, then a bit of quick rain, but really, it was fun. A tip - many non-drinkers pass around their slips for a free beer, so if your agile, you can have a few nice pints!

Excellent tour with Keith! We had a fantastic time on the 'Guinness Brewery Premium Experience' and would highly recommend this to anyone keen to learn about Guinness, and enjoy visiting several parts of the site that are usually unavailable to visitors. The experience also included pouring your own pint of Guinness and a hearty lunch in the onsite 1837 restaurant which was a very nice way to round out the tour and speak with the other guests. Overall the experience was about 4 hours with the first couple of hours touring around the older buildings on the site, with one of the highlights being the Roast House! Keith was very accommodating to any questions and it was possible to take photos throughout the tour. Given the inevitably corporate nature of Guinness, the tour was still steeped in history and we were very valued as guests at the brewery. It was quite a small group and compared to the crowds of visitors waiting to go to the Gravity Bar outside it was a luxury to spend time in more of a relaxed atmosphere throughout the experience. The tour also included a free beer at the Gravity Bar at the end of the session and although there are good views from the bar this was the least enjoyable part of the experience as it was extremely busy there with no where to sit down. Overall this was a fantastic experience and being able to see and experience some of the actual brewing process on site, and ask any questions, alongside the more interactive parts of pouring your own pint and enjoying the meal, it was a really well-rounded visit. Thanks again to Keith for the fantastic passion and knowledge on Guinness!

Interesting history. Very crowded. I would have appreciated a bit more of a personal experience but I guess that’s probably a different tour. The Guinness pint at the end was the BEST!

A great self guided tour through the Guinness Storehouse. The tour was concise and simple with some cool video effects ending in the 7th floor gravity lounge with 360 views of the city and a cold Guinness to enjoy.

Not just a brewery tour. History of Belfast , area development, how its made, label designs. Old and new Advertising, with great photo opportunities. Disabled access is available but you have to constantly divert from the route that everyone else is taking, to use the lifts that take you to another incorrect location, no signage to say turn left to rejoin your route , so lots of wrong turns, seeing things several times out of order. The information is extensible if you stop and read what is available, most people just walked past things without looking or reading. After 3 1/2 hours we still had three flours to go, mainly because the lifts are in great demand and even on a fairly quiet day we had to wait over and over again to use them. The complete opposite of the Titanic museum. Carer got free ticket, understandably he didn’t get a free pint. Problem was he could not buy one either, this should be bookable and obvious on the booking form. Luckily we were happy to share mine but thats not something everyone will do. Great free parking in a disabled space berry close to entrance.

There is a lot to see but as it is not a guided tour it can be a bit of a maze. Not suitable for young children. No brewing to be seen . The marketing level is fascinating. 6000 visitors per day so it is busy. Ticket from Viator is useless as although you download the QR code that is only for one person even though it shows 2 people or more and then there is trouble getting in especially if you forget the password so I would use another provider.

Brilliant from start to finish and the views from the bar at the top (on a clear day like we had) are remarkable.

Tour was really good and had a great time inside the factory. The tour is a must when in Dublin. ******Buyer Be Ware ********* There will be horse drawn carriages outside of the factory when you exit. The operators are lined up, very similar to ubers waiting to steal your money. They have a very misleading sign displaying various prices to different sites. The driver will ask for more money at the end of the of the ride saying the price that was displayed is the price per passenger which is a load of "BS." When I was confronted with this matter, I immediately recognized this was a "bait and switch." I did not want to get into debate w/ the driver w/ my family present, I chose to pay the money, but I was not very happy about it. I know Guiness has no affiliation with this, but it makes them look very bad.

Guinness Storehouse is a must do in Dublin! We had a great time and learned a lot. There is easy walking and elevators if you prefer. Some people even brought their luggage! The shops are fantastic and the sky bar has great views.
