Expérience gastronomique polonaise de luxe à Gdansk

Description

Aneta and Piotr were fantastic hosts to me and my 16-year old son. They were generous with their own memories of growing up in Gdansk (including theif foodie memories) and very knowledgeable about Polish history of course - especially food history. We really loved this experience and if was a special thing to share with my son in such great company. We loved the venue choices and the food. Considering the quality of dishes included and the truly enjoyable company of Aneta and Piotr, we considered this excellent value and definitely recommend the experience.
Thank you so much for your kind words! It was truly a pleasure for Aneta and Piotr to host you and your son on our tour. We’re delighted that you enjoyed the stories, the history, and especially the food!
Our guide was Marek who was really friendly and informative. We went to three restaurants and a cocktail bar. The food was all really nice and marek was great at explaining the food and traditions. Would recommend this experience
Erik was just the best guide. We visited four restaurants and had four courses. Everything was delicious. Erik was very knowledgeable and made the experience so much fun!
Thank you for your review! We're glad to hear that you learned a lot during the tour. We appreciate your feedback and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future!
The guide was very friendly and told us about the History of Gdansk as well as traditional polish food!
Very pleasant tour. Eryk and Marek taught us a lot about the history and cultural importance of the various food and drink items. And of course, everything was delicious!
Our guide Erik showed us to 4 different restaurants where we had 3 different kinds of pirogi, 2 soups, 2 main courses of typical home made Polish dishes and finaly we ended the night at a bar with some drinks. Oh and I forgot, we also tried 2 different vodkas. During the whole night Erik was a realy nice host and talked alot about Polish food, important holidays and the meaning and importance of food. We learned alot of things about food and culture but also about history and architecture when we were walking the city. All in all a really nice evening, can really recomend! 👍👍👍
We had a wonderful, informative and very interesting food tour in Gdansk with our knowledgeable and skilled guide, Marta. She answered all our questions, taught us a lot about polish food and culture, and was generally just a great guide. We recommend this experience to anyone who visits Poland!
I booked this trip for my boyfriend's birthday because I wanted to do something different, adventurous and cultural & this tour did not disappoint. We had breakfast before hand [but I would recommend going without a breakfast] and headed to meet our tour guide outside the scandic hotel [opposite gdansk main trainstation, gdansk glowny]. It was a little confusing because we didn't know who or what to look for, but we approached this guy & he was our tour guide. Alex [the tour guide] was great! He was very informative on everything, not only the food! He made us feel very welcome and had a laugh with him. We visited 3 restaurants but overall 5 visits to food places. [1st one, inc perogi - polish dumplings [delicious!] the second visit was in a market where we tried a different selection of Polish meats, very traditional. The third visit was in another restaurant, a modern, hipster place where we tried 2 different polish soups [again, delicious!]. The fourth visit, we had a 3 course meal in a rather posh restaurant & finally, we visited a cafe with outstanding desserts! [UM AM is the name] the presentation of the cakes we're unreal! The chocolate mousse with forest fruits inside is a definite recommendation! & you get a coffee. Alex ate with us on the tour, which was great because it made us feel at ease. The only thing is, he wasn't allowed to get the coffee & cake in the end, which was a shame! In the end, we also got a gift of a post card & magnet from the company which was a sweet gesture. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone - It's more than a food tour! But the food was great!
I had a great time and was surprised by the amount of food - seriously, you can skip breakfast - and the quality of the food as well.
Lucas was our guide..spoke perfect English very knowledgeable young guy. Heard all about the history of the country as we walked around this lovely city. Sampled lots of traditional dishes along the way...the food just kept coming!!! Would highly recommend this tour.
