Our guide and driver, Faed, is absolutely the BEST!! He picked us up at the Eilat border and drove us to Wadi Rum where we enjoyed a delicious lunch and a wonderful jeep tour of the area. Then he drove us to our hotel in Petra. All the while talking to us about his life and home in Jordan. He speaks English very clearly and was very polite and gracious with his time. The next morning we had an incredible tour of Petra with Mamoun Nawafleh. He is extremely knowledgeable and the absolute authority of this beautiful area of the world. Faed had given us a phone to call him when we were finished hiking in Petra. We called him and he promptly picked us up and brought us back to our hotel. The next morning he picked us up and brought us to Madaba and Mt Nebo for a tour and then brought us to our hotel in Amman. Along the way, he stopped at a cafe in Amman and treated us to his favorite desert! It was delicious! Faed is absolutely wonderful! We would recommend him to all of our friends! He is a true gem!
