Pila, Leroy and Hitler made our experience unforgettable. Seeing Victoria Falls was a dream come true. I highly recommend this experience. Pila was extra helpful and informative
This tour has it all in one generous, fun & efficient package. We enjoyed the ancient Baobab Tree, and then entered Victoria Falls National Park for an astounding and unforgettably adventure. For the evening we enjoyed a sunset cruise with included appetizers, drinks and animal/bird sightings. This was followed by a glorious “Boma” dining experience and very high energy native entertainment. Don’t pass this all inclusive experience! Shout out to Lox, our knowledgeable guide through the falls, who made a great day a lot of fun!
The trip itself was wonderful. Our guide Locks was great and was very informative. The boat that we rode with on the other hand was a bit of a let down. The boat does not look the same as the one when you book. The boat was a single decker instead of a luxurious double decter. However, the view was 100% worth it. Overall experience was great.
We were expertly guided around Victoria Falls by the super friendly and knowledgeable Phila and Jason. The trip offered great value for money and included a tour of theFalls, the sunset cruise and the BOMA dinner. We asked to be dropped at the lookout café for lunch which they willingly accommodated. I would recommend hiring the poncho and wearing crocs or similar shoes. You WILL get wet!
Fabulous day. The Victoria falls were at 50 year high with a huge amount of spray. We were drenched but a wonderful memory. The afternoon cruise on the Zambezi was lovely. Really relaxing but not much game due to the high water level. The dinner at the Boma restaurant was a highlight. Would not miss it for the world. Fantastic buffet including local cuisine. The drumming was so much fun. Definitely would highly recommend the full day outing. Negatives. Tipping. Everyone is looking for a tip and the only currency you can get from an ATM is USD and the minimum denomination is $20. Change is extremely difficult to find. Even the supermarkets don’t want to give you change! They try to get you to buy some additional items such as lollies as they don’t have change. Suggestion is that you get South African currency in small denominations. This is quite easy to do if you are passing through South Africa.
The tour is a personal event, only for the people who have booked. They have their own driver and guide and are picked up from their resort. Both Guide and driver were excellent. The Falls were flowing very fast, so, despite renting waterproofs, we were absolutely soaked by the end of the walk and had to return to our resort to change. This should be emphasised before leaving the resort so a change of clothing could be taken. We missed out on visiting the Open Market, but decided to go there on our own the following day. You spend most of the afternoon at your resort before being picked up for the Sundown cruise. Drinks and fairly substantial snacks are provided, but afterwards you are taken for dinner at the Boma. A little too much food for us in one evening.
First, I have to give high marks for flexibility. Our flight was delayed by a day and we practically missed the activity as it was supposed to start at 8AM. Instead of saying we are out of luck, the team said we can do the the sunset cruise and Boma dinner in the evening and then next morning we were able to visit the Victoria Falls. Both the cruise and the falls are magnificent. the only negative is the quality of the food on both the sunset cruise and the Boma. I would say it was mediocre. Everyone was wonderful and welcoming and I would have give this a 5 stars had the food been better
Excellent full day excursion.
The team was very kind, communicative, informative, knowledgeable, and a blast to be around! They take care of you at every step, and made sure we had a fantastic experience!
Definitely not worth the price for this one It still doesn't include entrance fees of $50pp and $10pp tax Basically you are paying for a taxi to pick you up land drive you back and forth which would run you about $20 total on own and a guide that walks you through the falls which are numbered anyway just ask chat gpt 20 facts about Vic falls I was truly disappointed with this one but it's my fault cause I didn't do the research
Thank you for your honest personal perspective. The convenience of the full day experience is that you enjoyed the best of Victoria Falls with a personal guide and transportation at your leisure for a full day from 0830am to 10pm. The tour began with a visit to the famous ancient big tree . Then to a 2 and half hour fully guided Vic Falls waterfall and rainforest tour (unfortunately the entrance fee of us$50 is the standard Government fee) . This was followed by a Vic Falls bridge tour with an option (paid) to cross over to the Zambia side. Lunch was at your chosen restaurant. Then followed the guided African Craft Market Tour and then hotel drop off for refreshing. We then picked and took you for the 2 and half hour evening boat cruise with cruise fee, canapés and open bar included in the tour price with memorable water wildlife game viewing and the remarkable Zambezi sunset (the us$10 is another unavoidable Government Levy). After which we then chauffeured you to the unforgettable Boma Dinner, Dance and Drum Show with Dinner included in the tour price for an authentic African cuisine buffet with game meat on spit roast and much much more, traditional dance and participatory drumming experience at The Boma-arguably one of the most famous traditional dining experiences in Africa today. Ending with a transfer back to hotel around 10pm. While we appreciate, understand and value your perspective, our aim is to give our valued customers a seamless, flexible, hustle free experience of the best of Victoria Falls in one full day at a reasonable price that if activities, guide and transport where booked individually would most likely double the price without the convenience of a seamlessly curated day tour, local knowledgeable guide and air conditioned transportation at your disposal for a full day.
