Expérience boulangerie Française Paris primée — Le Marais, 4ème Arr

Description

Our guide Nina was fantastic. Very sweet and thoughtful with kids. Overall experience meh though, change of venue the night before, our family of four received 3 pastries before “class”, just like the other party of two with us. We asked for one more croissant for the two kids and were told no we could buy it. Probably would skip this experience and go to multiple cafes for a fraction of the cost. Overall “baking” was a baguette by rolling it, rolling croissants which based on overall time we didn’t get to try or take back with us and making some cookies. By no means do you “learn” to bake.
Our tour and class was absolutely fantastic! Our baker/guide was Mourad who was exceptional! He was very engaging, entertaining, and encouraged our energetic 7 and 11 year old niece and nephew to continue to be so! Before and after the tour we got such delightful baked goods and took home our baguettes and dessert treats we made! We had so much, we had the baguettes for breakfast the next day and they were just as delicious the day after! Our 18 year old had fun as well! Mourad also gave such fantastic tips for local eateries. Such a great event, not to be missed!
Our family absolutely loved this baking experience. Our host was so much fun, great with the kids and very welcoming. We enjoyed pastries and coffees in the bakery to start off. We made baguette, financiers and croissants…all absolutely delicious and a totally interactive experience. We went home with a ton of goodies to feed us for the rest of the trip. Highly recommend!
This was an absolute highlight for us! Hands on practice how to make baguette, croissants and desserts! Our instructor Maroud (spelling) made this class so fun and informative! You can tell he loves his job and demonstrated 110% of his passion for French baked goods at Miss Mason!
An amazing experience!! We had so much fun, and we able to learn/make croissants, financiers, and baguette! Would recommend 100%
Guide was great with a lot of information. There wasn’t a lot of actual food preparation involved but the short class fit our schedule better.
Had a lot of fun making small cakes and hand shaping croissants and baguettes. David was very funny, engaging and kept the class moving. He provided a locked up space for the class belongings. It was very hot in the basement (during heatwave) so could be uncomfortable for some. There are stairs- very steep and narrow, but if you need to you can possibly take the elevator. Was able to take bread and cakes back. Before class pastries and coffee.
The experience was amazing. We were welcomed with fresh croissants and pastries before heading down to the cooking area. Our guide was amazing and ensured everyone had a hand in rolling the croissants and baking the breads. Highly recommend this experience!
Actually a bit disappointed. Nice guide but we didn’t do much or learn enough. We rolled coissants and folded baguette. It’s a nice bakery but could have taken the time to start from scratch. With a smaller group
Excellent organisation. Very friendly staff. My 15 year old daughter completed this activity on her own
