Amazing experience on a rare beautiful clear day! Have been to Ireland and Dingle several times and poor weather have prevented a good view of the Blasket Islands as well as prevented a boat outing previously. The weather was perfect, visibility perfect, RIB a fun ride, guide knowledgeable and fun and the wildlife, coastline and island views all spectacular and unforgettable. I cannot recommend this excursion more highly. Saw the gorgeous coast of Dingle, Blasket Islands, dolphin, minke whale, seals, puffin etc. - weather so good no need for the heavy rain gear provided!
This boat tour was amazing! It exceeded my expectations by far. Our guide was extremely well spoken and knowledgeable. He’s a teacher at a local school in Dingle and does this job during the summer. He was able to tell us a great deal about the history of the Irish language on the peninsula and he also had a great deal of knowledge about the animals we were seeing. In addition, he seemed to have a certain knack for finding the sea life.
We had the best time on the Dingle Sea Safari! It was well worth the price for the 6 of us to explore Dingle, the Blasket Islands, the local wildlife (dolphins, seals, whales and puffins) and learn the history. Our tour guide Colm, was fantastic! His knowledge of the history, environment and even the tendencies and moods of the local wildlife was unmatched. We were his last tour of the day and the weather was good, so he took the extra time to ensure that we had the best experience possible. At the end, he even learned from another boat captain that there was a large pod of dolphins that had appeared and brought us to the spot. This experience would have been great, but Colm took it to the next level and made it truly unforgettable.
Amazing tour, saw dolphins, seal and plenty of birds including puffins. Dave went out of his way to maximize the experience. Staff at check in very helpful and eager to answer questions. Would highly recommend this tour!
Phenomenal experience with an amazing guide (Mikey) -
The Dingle Sea Safari with Captain Conall was one of our favorite experiences in Ireland! We had an unusually warm day on the water and were able to sail without all the bulky jackets/trousers. Our boat was full, and the only downside was having to sit in front of my husband rather than side by side. But, once we were out, it actually made photos easier - and he was able to be on the side to see everything closely! We got to see some really neat caves on our way out, and the finale was the dozens of Puffins on the island and the dolphins swimming right next to our boat! If you're comfortable on the water at high speeds, this is the tour for you!
We cannot recommend this amazing experience enough! We had a phenomenal day on the water, saw breathtaking views and so much sea life! From puffins, to dolphins, seals and even a minke whale!! Our entire family of 6, had a blast, genuine happiness for almost 3 hours! Don’t miss this when you’re in Dingle, be sure to add it to your Ireland itinerary! Colm was our Captain and he was so knowledgeable, we all felt safe, no one was sick, got drenched or wet at all. Dingle Sea Safari was definitely the highlight of our trip! We will definitely be back when we plan our next Ireland adventure!
Ranks right up there with best boat trips I’ve taken and that is saying something since I have been on many spectacular ones like the Na’Pali Coast in Kauai, Hawaii. Friendly staff, comfortable ride with seat backs, and waterproof jacket and pants. We saw lots of Puffins, 3 whales, dolphins and seals. Up close to exceptional cliffs, caves and caverns. Saw the sleeping giant, Skellig Michael from a distance, and many of the sights you see on the Slea Head drive plus more and up close. We absolutely loved it. All 14 family members. It is a must do and one of our favorite on the trip
Kevin was our tour guide on the day. He was excellent - very knowledgeable and understanding of everyone’s needs. He even stalled longer than he should’ve so that we could meet some dolphins and minkie whales
This was so much fun! We saw dolphins, puffin and some spectacular scenery! Only thing I wish I remembered was my sunscreen. My face go so burnt, cover up my fellow travelers.
