Itinéraire
Une route panoramique le long de la promenade Blue Ridge nous amène à nos deux premiers arrêts. Nous commencerons par un belvédère à couper le souffle offrant une vue panoramique, ainsi que des toilettes pratiques et une boutique de souvenirs avec des collations. De là, nous continuerons dans la forêt nationale de Pisgah pour visiter une magnifique cascade au bord de la route qui ne nécessite pas de randonnée, mais avec la possibilité de faire une courte randonnée modérée jusqu’à une deuxième cascade à proximité.
A quelques minutes en voiture des cascades nous amène à la charmante ville de montagne de Brevard. Ici, vous aurez du temps libre pour déjeuner dans l'un des excellents restaurants locaux de la ville et explorer ses boutiques uniques, boulangeries, cafés, galeries d'art et musée. Je partagerai des idées locales et vous recommanderai des établissements préférés, puis vous donnerai l’espace nécessaire pour explorer à votre rythme, tout en étant toujours disponible si vous souhaitez des conseils ou de l’aide. En quittant Brevard, nous nous arrêterons au Brevard College pour voir si nous pouvons apercevoir des écureuils blancs locaux.
Notre destination finale est Hendersonville, qui abrite le deuxième plus grand centre-ville de l'ouest de la Caroline du Nord, juste après Asheville. Cette zone animée regorge d'activités, de sites et de saveurs à apprécier. Promenez-vous le long de la rue Main, magnifiquement aménagée, avec plus de 100 boutiques et 25 restaurants, vous trouverez un délicieux mélange de magasins et de galeries de haute qualité appartenant à la région. En plus de la scène animée du centre-ville, Hendersonville offre plusieurs musées gratuits. Juste à l'extérieur du centre-ville, vous trouverez une variété d'attractions, y compris de charmants vergers, des fermes pittoresques, de délicieux vignobles et des brasseries locales. Nous pouvons discuter à l'avance de vos intérêts spécifiques et adapter les arrêts à vous et vos invités. De Hendersonville, nous retournerons à Asheville.

Je prends les voyageurs à leur emplacement d'hébergement si elle est à moins de 15 miles du centre-ville d'Asheville et ne nécessite pas quatre roues motrices. S'il est plus loin, nous nous retrouverons au Visitor Center sur Montford Avenue à Asheville ou les voyageurs peuvent payer un petit frais pour la prise en charge si en dehors de la limite.

If I could give this tour more than five stars, I absolutely would! From the very beginning, the communication was exceptional. Before we even arrived, our guide reached out with wonderful suggestions and ideas that helped us make the most of our visit, and every question was answered promptly and thoughtfully. The tour itself was beyond anything we could have imagined. We traveled along the breathtaking Blue Ridge Parkway, explored the beauty of Pisgah Forest, visited charming Brevard, enjoyed a delicious lunch, browsed unique local boutiques, spotted the famous white squirrels, wandered through the quaint shops in Flat Rock and Hendersonville, and finished the day with a relaxing wine tasting at a beautiful winery. What truly made this experience unforgettable was our guide. Jacquewent above and beyond to tailor the day to our interests, needs, and physical abilities, making sure everyone was comfortable while still experiencing incredible waterfalls, scenic overlooks, and stunning mountain views that were unlike anything we see at home. My friends and I decided to visit Asheville for the very first time and we did not want to rent a car. We looked for different tour options, and we chanced upon this "Customizable Private Day Trips our of Asheville" in Viator. At first, we liked it because it was private, and we did not have to be with a group of strangers. We liked the idea that we could customize the tour based on our preferences. However, as we planned the trip, we were just amazed on how it evolved and exceeded our expectations! Jacque, the owner, was a treasure of information on the countless places we can visit. She answered all our pre-trip questions in a very timely manner and made sure that we were happy with our choices. Jacque showed up on time with a big smile and a shared excitement for the day. And yes, her car was very clean and comfortable! She was very thorough in giving information, history, and insights on the many places of interests during our tour. We spent a full day exploring Asheville with Jacque from Outta Asheville, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment she picked us up, it felt less like a tour and more like spending the day with a knowledgeable local friend who genuinely loves sharing the area. Jacque has a great way of tailoring the day as you go—she really listens and adjusts based on what catches your interest. Because of that, everything we did felt personal rather than planned. She also came prepared with thoughtful touches that made the day easy and comfortable, which didn’t go unnoticed. One thing I especially appreciated was her recommendations. She suggested several restaurants, and we chose to have lunch at The Bohemian—it was absolutely delicious. Clearly, she knows the area inside and out. What really stood out, though, was that her care didn’t end when the tour did. Later that day, she followed up with even more personalized suggestions for places we might enjoy during the rest of our visit, which was such a thoughtful touch.
