Description
Montez à bord d'une visite en petit groupe avec un service personnalisé qui vous emmènera le long de la route de la cascade de Goðafoss, du lac Mývatn, du champ de lave de Dimmuborgir, de la géothermie de Námafjall, des pseudocratères et de la grotte de Grjótagjá. Si nous avons le temps, en fonction de l'heure de départ des navires de croisière, nous visiterons les bains naturels de Mývatn, où vous aurez l'occasion de vous baigner dans l'eau géothermique (notez que le prix d'entrée, un maillot de bain et une serviette ne sont pas inclus) ou de profiter de quelques rafraîchissements au café de l'hôtel avec une vue panoramique.

Nous commençons par nous arrêter à la cascade de Goðafoss, l'une des cascades les plus spectaculaires d'Islande
nous nous arrêtons également à Skútustaðagígar (zone des pseudo-cratères) avec des pots de vapeur et de boue
vue sur le lac où Game of Thrones a été filmé, au nord du mur.
Sur le chemin du retour, nous arrivons aux formations de lave uniques de Dimmuborgir qui comptent parmi les attractions touristiques les plus populaires de la région du lac Mývatn.

Informations sur le ramassage Si vous arrivez à Akureyri par bateau de croisière, assurez-vous de nous avoir fourni le nom de votre navire, car il y a plusieurs ports à Akureyri. Port de Tangabryggja : Juste à l'extérieur de la zone des bateaux de croisière, vous verrez plusieurs petites maisons en bois. Star Travel est situé à la maison numéro 3, et nous vous y retrouverons. Oddeyrarbryggja Port : Juste à l'extérieur du navire, vous trouverez une boutique de vêtements de glace. À côté se trouve la zone réservée aux agents, où tous les agents de voyages attendent leurs clients. Nous serons là avec un panneau Star Travel. Cherchez un de nos collègues portant une veste jaune vif. Si vous séjournez à Akureyri, assurez-vous d'avoir sélectionné le bon hébergement pour la prise en charge. Enfin, assurez-vous que le numéro de téléphone que vous avez fourni est joignable au cas où nous devrions vous contacter pour des mises à jour ou des changements.

Our driver and guide Siggi was professional and punctual yet friendly and accommodating. He shared much interesting and helpful information as well as personal experiences. There was enough time at each amazing site around Lake Myvatn and at Godafoss. Earth Lagoon was still under remodeling when we visited but the substitute experience at the Forest Lagoon did not disappoint. We were dropped off at a nearby site of our request.

Great tour despite poor weather and visibility. Guide, Siggi was wonderful- very knowledgeable, very accosting, and helpful to older people on slippery rocks. He made our tour. It tectonic cracks are amazing to see. Highly recommend

This experience is an excellent way to view the geological marvels that abound in the northern part of Iceland. It includes some lore of the country by way of elves and trolls which makes the science of the geology even more intriguing. This trip includes the nature baths which is a fine experience and may get better after expansion concludes in 2026. The nature baths are manmade and not natural, but the heat is geothermal. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about many facets of Iceland and his expertise only added to the day.

The tour was wonderful. The tour bus was comfortable and driver was great. Really enjoyed the stories from tour guide. Loved the farm and stories told by the young man at the farm. Waterfalll was awesome!

Ziggy was our guide and he took care of everything from start to finish. The tour started at 9:30am sharp and he provided us a lot of information about Iceland and Akurejri, explaining where the next stop is, what to look forward to and beware. He was obviously very customer focused and I would definitely look forward to joining another tour in Iceland with him as our guide.

The whole experience was seamless. Our guide was easily found at the port (look for a bright yellow jacket). Since everyone arrived early we were able to even leave before 9:30! The tour itself was well planned and took us to beautiful spots. Ending at the baths was great. It also freed us up later on during our travels as we decided to skip Blue Lagoon for the smaller, but as beautiful lagoon at Lake Myvan. We would highly recommend this tour. Our guide was personable, knowledgeable, and wove in details about her personal life to explain Icelandic customs and culture. It was a great tour!
