What a fun few hours, Going up in the finals, coming down three different tracks on a big strong plastic luge with braking system. Then returning to the top by ski lift. A lot of laughs had. Good restaurant at the top and a self service shop to get , sandwiches , pies etc. A great fun trip.
Thank you for picking our tour company and that you enjoyed your day with Thierry to Rotorua
Good fun, went on a week day so no lines or anything. Definitely do 5 runs so you can do all the runs but “Gravity” is a must. The flying fox was fun and fast but the swing seemed more exhilarating, so would suggest do that over the flying fox but it was still fun.
Gondola ride was enjoyable. Nice cafe/view at top. The luge was very well run and designed. Safe and fun. Kids love it. I am in my 50’s tall and built like a lumberjack but the systems worked just as well for me. My wife and I both liked it.
So much fun for families with young and old children. Spectacular views to go with your rides along with food and other activities for small children. Price was very reasonable giving us Gondola rides to the top with 5 rides on the Luge.
I was really nervous about doing this excursion. I'm so thankful I tried it. I had so much fun I didn't want to stop. It's super easy to control the sleds, no one was being reckless and it moves along, so you are never waiting in line. The gondola and ski lift was super easy to get on and off. I never felt scared or insecure. There were people of all ages having a great time. Please go and enjoy!
Awesome place to go with family or friends! Definitely worth the money and would do it 100 times again, the night luge was awesome and the lights work beautiful. The staff were so helpful and bright and seemed to love their job and it showed. Will definitely be back:)
Best activity in Rotorua for family with teenagers. Definitely recommend getting the 5 luge turn ticket. Also the Jelly belly shop is amazing if a little expensive So much fun!
Great tour of the area with an informative guide. Rotorua and the Gondola ride were lovely. The luge track was a very fun addition to our day while still getting to see the area. Would definitely recommend to everyone!
Thank you Sarah. Glad you enjoyed it. Tony was your guide/driver I think. He is the consumate gentleman who's modus operandi is Number 1 priority: Please the customer and provide them with a unique and informative trip.
I am not good with electronics, but wanted to leave a review about Toby and our experience. It was wonderful and he is very accommodating to make it custom for everyone to enjoy their experience. Highly recommend!!
Thank you Debbie. You're an awesome person, and a delight as a customer. All the best with your plans to go to Brazil. Enjoy the rest of your holiday. Toby
The tour was a little disorganized. The guide Roger was running behind schedule, not sure of the time he needed to return us to the port for our boarding of our cruise ship. Didn't really comment much on history or geography of where and what he was showing us. Did take us to geothermal pools, and redwood forest. We are from California and we have lots of redwood forests, he never said much about this one, how did they get a redwood forest in New Zealand? Seemed to have alot of unexplained wondering around time. That being said the adventure park with the gondola and luge ride was great! Could have been a better tour with a different guide.
With respect I think you maybe a little confused as I owned the company for the past 5 years . I pride myself on giving my guests the best possible day and make a point of covering the history of this area from when Capt Cook discovered the area in 1769 and that the Redwood forest was introduced in the early 1900’s. I always encourage people to ask questions and we certainly maximize your time we certainly don’t have a lot of “ wandering around time “ If I was behind schedule it would be because some people have difficulty or reading instructions on what time we meet , that being the case out tour is still longer than advertised so everyone has a great day . We know exactly what time we will be back at the Port that is the first thing we cover with passengers and no one has ever been late back , generally you are in Port 12 hours and our Tours are approx 7 hours in duration. I apologize if it did not meet your expectations but your review is a little vague and one of a minority you have even referred to the tour as Taranaki which is a different of New Zealand regards Roger
