This was a wonderful tour with Anderson Scottish Tours. Callum did an excellent job communicating with me from the time of my booking through tour completion. In fact, he let me know that the Castle and Gardens would be closed on the selected day so he suggested that the tour be rescheduled so that all the sites could be enjoyed. He also kept me updated throughout. Iain did a terrific job as the tour guide. His deep knowledge and appreciation of history, music and the arts made the tour even more so enjoyable. Iain even wore a kilt despite the chilly day to make this tour even more so authentic! As we were running ahead of schedule, he added bonus stops including a visit to Renfrew and the Govan Old Parish Church, which was especially interesting. The Dunoon ferry ride was very pleasant too. Be sure to ask for Iain when you book this tour.
We had a nice time traveling through the West Highlands. Callum did an excellent job getting us everywhere and answering whatever questions we might have. His attire truly made it a grand Scottish welcome and experience!
Callum gave us an amazing tour when our ship docked in Greenock! Iconic stops and wonderful information along the way, along with answering our groups plethora of questions. It was everything we were hoping and more. Castles, lochs, history, shopping and Scottish food and making it back to the boat on time! Highly recommend a tour with Anderson Schottish Tours to everyone, we will be planning something with them in the future!
Callie was so good and knowledgeable. He showed up on time and had everything planned and scheduled perfectly. Best tour ever!!
We took a tour of the Scottish Highlands with Anderson Scottish Tours. Our guide Callum was exceptional! He drove us along a very scenic route, stopping at a few quant villages along the way. He arranged for us to have a lunch at an old Hotel which was full of character and the food was great. During the tour, Callum shared his knowledge of Scottish history and culture with us. We will definitely be booking another tour with Callum our next trip back to Scotland and can’t recommend him enough!
Callum is a friendly, warm and knowledgeable tour guide. The vehicle is new and more than comfortable for a group of six. He anticipated his guests needs and is very responsive before & during the excursion. He keeps his small group ahead of the big coach buses and makes sure his guests have the best experience. Callum knows a great deal about the clans and is happy to share with his guests. We visited Lock Lommund, Inverary Castle, town of Inverary, George Hotel for lunch and then a bit of a hike into Puck’s Glen. Am sure the big coaches never went near that. We took the ferry ride and were a bit ahead of schedule and he generously offered to do more. We’d had a full day at that point. I’d highly recommend him to anyone visiting this beautiful country. If I’m lucky enough to visit again I will definitely book a full tour with Callum!!
Our family booked Anderson Scottish Tours for a one day shore excursion to Inveraray and the West Highlands, and it was an amazing day! Callum was a wonderful tour guide who was very kind, funny, and engaging, and he also taught us a lot about everything Scotland. We got lucky with a blue sky day and every stop was breathtakingly beautiful--from the banks of Loch Lomond, the streets of Inveraray, the hike in Puck's Glen, and even seeing dolphins on our ferry ride back to Greenock. We couldn't have asked for a better one day shore excursion. We would definitely recommend Callum at Anderson Scottish Tours.
We really appreciate you taking the time to leave such a wonderful review! Thanks once again and we hope you enjoyed the rest of your cruise.
After finding Anderson Scottish Tours on google we booked a shore excursion. Callum picked us up right from the dock and took us to Loch Lomond, the views were perfect. We then continued to Inverary for lunch. Even though the castle was closed on the day we walked up to it and still managed to get great photos. We then went around another few lochs with beautiful scenery before we stopped at pucks glen, this was gorgeous nature walk with waterfalls and tall green trees, although I would advise suitable footwear. We then got on a little ferry for the journey back to the dock. We even seen dolphins! We didnt realise how accessible the highlands were from Greenock and we had a truly magical day with Callum, he was so knowledgeable and welcoming, we recommend anyone to book Anderson Scottish tours.
Thank You for taking the time to leave your review! It was a real plesure taking you all out for the day from your ship! I hope the rest of your cruise went well! Thanks again!
