Hiking dream in Gran Canaria – unforgettable experiences! I had the pleasure of spending a week's hiking holiday in Gran Canaria, and this trip exceeded my expectations in every respect. The island offers breathtaking scenic diversity, from lush green valleys in the north to the barren, spectacular mountain landscapes in the center. Jörg, our guide, whose performance I must call excellent and absolutely first-class, drove our small hiking group, we were 8 people, reliably and routinely to the most beautiful corners of the island, to hike them there with us on lonely paths. He knew the island like his back pocket. The routes he chose were not only scenic, but also adapted to the level of the group. His knowledge of the local flora, fauna, geology and history has made each hike an exciting and educational experience. He always provided a positive and motivating atmosphere, had an eye for the needs of each participant, was always helpful and cared deeply about our well-being and safety. Safety has always come first. He guided the group confidently and professionally through more demanding passages, which gave me a consistently reassuring feeling. Gran Canaria is a hiking paradise to be experienced. Thanks to Jörg's professional and warm guidance, the holiday was transformed from a beautiful trip to an unforgettable experience. They were both very great hiking experiences, super reliable pickup and return transfer included! Jörg, with his extensive expertise, very entertaining and humorous, gives a lot of interesting information about nature, history and way of life on the island. The small group size of max. 8 participants, is additionally very pleasant! Conclusion: absolutely recommended and we will gladly hike again with Jörg when we will be back on Gran Canaria!

Jörg took us twice to hike in the different landscapes of Gran Canaria. We did both a mountain hike at the highest altitudes of the island and a slightly greener hike in the north around Teror. Both times we met Jörg as a very friendly, competent, informative and reliable tour guide and are not surprised that he was able to build up a regular clientele on the island. I would be happy to come back anytime. Best book now!

We went back to GC after a few years, this time in Agaete. Jörg does his tours mostly from LP or from the south, but this time we met without any problems in the mountains at the starting point. Simply fantastic to hike through the Canary pine forests with wonderful views of the Moriscos + Roque Nublo and the Pico de las Nieves, the highest mountain GC. The route was well devised by Jörg, only a few times a bit rocky paths. From the terrain not to compare with tours in Tenerife or La Gomera, much easier. He was given enough breaks for photos, this mountain world (!) has an incredible amount of nature to offer. Jörg was (as before) a very friendly and pleasant hiking guide, which you can absolutely rely on. A holiday in Gran Canaria without hiking with Jörg is possible, but pointless :-)

We had a great trip with Jörg. Since we already knew some destinations, he has responded to all our wishes and has shown us very nice places. The restaurants he chose for the coffee break and lunch were also excellent. What Jörg told us about the country and people was very interesting. If we come back to Gran Canaria, we will definitely contact Jörg again and hope he has time for us.

Our 8-hour tour for four from/to Las Palmas (port) can only be described as "fantastic". The 'way' went to the dunes of Maspalomas and back through the island - with wonderful views from some "Miradores" (among others M. Astronomico de la Del., M. Pico de las Nieves, Roque Nublo) and small mountain villages (among others Fataga, San Bartolomé, Teror), and lunch in a "local" restaurant in Ayacata - simple, cozy, very tasty food, and on top of that cheap. During the trip (comfortably in a minibus) we were "entertained" by Jörg with information on and about Gran Canaria - land and people, history, flora and fauna, economic interests and and and ... More information about and "prospects" for GC in just 8 hours really can't be done. We can only highly recommend a tour with Jörg and would book again at any time should we be on GC again.

Thanks to Jörg we made a wonderful hike into the Falkenschlucht. Everything was right, the hotel pick-up, the interesting explanations from Jörg and the hike itself , so we could hike through very different vegetation! In short, the hike my girlfriend and I liked very much, an experience and we recommend Jörg gladly !
