Sintra est devenue une destination populaire au cours des dernières années, mais certains endroits ont été négligés. L'idée de cette visite est de vous emmener dans des endroits luxuriants où même en haute saison, vous n'avez pas à passer du temps dans les files d'attente. Vous aurez la chance de visiter un château et un palais ainsi que d'explorer un peu la côte de Sintra, où il y a plusieurs beaux restaurants servant du poisson et des fruits de mer frais. De plus, vous aurez toute la journée avec vous un guide local officiel qui parle couramment anglais, espagnol et portugais.

Nous visitons le château historique de Mourish au sommet de l'une des collines de Sintra où par temps clair, vous pouvez avoir une vue fantastique sur la ville et voir aussi loin vers l'océan Atlantique et même après Lisbonne.
Ici, nous nous étonnerons à travers la belle petite ville historique de Sintra où autrefois les rois et les reines séjournaient au palais national de Sintra surplombant la ville.
Profitez de l'un des palais les moins visités de Sintra, situé à la périphérie de la ville de Sintra, caché dans les collines et la nature, où vous pourrez vraiment découvrir pourquoi Sintra était considérée comme la capitale du romantisme au 19ème siècle. Un joli palais privé construit au milieu du 19ème siècle avec un mélange d'architecture indienne et arabe.
Nous terminons la journée par un dernier arrêt panoramique au point le plus occidental de l'Europe continentale - Cabo da Roca. Situé à 140m d'altitude où les vagues s'écrasent au bas des falaises. C'était le dernier endroit que les navigateurs portugais aient vu avant que le ne se dirige vers l'océan Atlantique lors de leurs voyages.

- Une partie du temps pendant la visite est consacrée au temps de trajet. Si vous êtes basé à Lisbonne, il vous faudra environ une heure pour vous rendre au château de Mourish. De là au centre historique est normalement à 5-10 minutes en voiture à moins qu'il n'y ait du trafic. Du centre historique au palais Monserrate, il est à environ 15 minutes en voiture. Du palais de Monserrate à Cabo da Roca est à environ 20 minutes. Et de Cabo da Roca retour à Lisbonne peut prendre environ une heure.

Bernardo went above and beyond for me and my 79 year-old auntie! I specifically chose his tour due to the chill-nature of the experience. We were able to tailor the tour to match ability levels. Bernardo communicated days before the tour to let me know about slight changes to the exterior of Montserrate, so we were able to make an informed decision about one of the coolest stops of the tour. He was super understanding and flexible when it came to making on- the- fly changes to suit the energy needs of my auntie. I also learned so much during my tour with Bernardo. He gave in-depth history with deep knowledge on a wide variety of subjects. I know I'll be back to visit portugal and I know that I'll book another tour with Bernardo.

Bernardo was a fantastic and very knowledgeable tour guide. We had the best time exploring Sintra’s amazing castles and the surrounding area. I highly recommend booking a tour with Bernardo, you won’t be disappointed.
A friend recommended Bernardo to us and we actually booked him two days in a row. Having a private tour guide was a big advantage as we could tailor our day as we wished. The day in Sintra was so magical. It was like a fairytale town come alive. Unfortunately, the Pena Palace was closed due to weather so we spent the majority of our time at Quinta da Regaleira castle and I am glad we did. The imagination of the owner to build such an elaborate grounds, gardens, tunnels and the piasta resistance, the initiation well was spectacular. Now I need to read Dante’s inferno…iykyk. Highly recommend Bernardo, very professional and knowledgeable.
