Wonderful experience! Both drivers that accommodated our family were amazing. Even through the rain and a lost wallet situation they brought one of us back to the ship. Extremely, serviceable and kind. Wonderful guide as well.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear that your driver helped make your family's experience so memorable. The driver did not speak English and we communicated through Google Translate, which worked fine. He did a really nice job with time management, ensuring that we saw the key sites and pointing out key landmarks.

It's wonderful to know that your driver managed the schedule well, ensuring you were able to visit the key sites while also pointing out important landmarks along the way. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you again on another adventure in Japan!
We had very nice time in Kochi. We had an itinerary and were able to to change it as needed. Very flexible.
Toshi took us everywhere. What a thoughtful and thoroughly nice man. He looked after us very well and we learnt lots of Japanese. We laughed so much along the way and we loved the whole experience! Thank you Toshi!
The driver spoke limited English which presented a problem. Needs to have clear instructions regarding where to meet. Learned nothing about the area because it would not be possible to share with the obvious language barrier
Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that the language barrier and the meeting arrangements affected your experience. We understand how important clear communication is, especially when visiting a new destination, and we regret that we did not meet your expectations in this regard. To help guests make the most of their visit, we provide a digital pamphlet before the tour with information about the destinations and meeting details. We hope it was helpful during your trip, and we'll continue looking for ways to improve our communication and overall guest experience. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts, as your feedback helps us continue improving our service. We wish you all the best in your future travels.
This tour was good and as it stated was by taxi driver with little or mi English. It is a great tour if you speak some Japanese and know exactly where you are going. However we are 4 retired ladies with next to none experience so even though we enjoyed the tour and managed ok I would not recommend it for our aged group. However if you are more capable then we were it was a good tour. I would request at least English speaking tour guide next time.
It was wonderful!! Nishimura was a wonderful driver and we were able to communicate via a translator app!
A perfect way to see the sights in Kochi. There are not many taxis waiting at kochi port so book in advance if you don’t want to be I; a bus with 35 people. A great and fast tour and we saw everything and had a fun lunch.
The driver’s English was very good. He walked with us on the beach and in the shrines and temple. Always making sure we were headed in the right direction. He was very adaptable about changing the tour to our suggestions. He found the perfect restaurant for lunch. I would strongly recommend this tour.
I was promised an English speaking guide/driver and got one who only spoke Japanese. I feel like I was lied to as I was told the booking was for a Japanese driver who could use a translator. That was a horrible experience. The sights were good and the driver did his best and shouldn't be faulted for what the company did. I wouldn't trust this company to book your tour. They also refused any refunds when the issues were brought to life.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations. As stated on the product page and also in the information materials sent before the tour, this service is operated by a Japanese-speaking driver, and communication support is provided through translation apps when needed. On Viator, the language setting is displayed as “English - Written,” which means that English support is provided through written materials and messages rather than spoken guiding. However, we understand that the way this is displayed on Viator can sometimes be confusing, especially compared to other tour formats. For this reason, we continue working to make the information clearer and easier to understand in order to avoid misunderstandings for future guests. At the same time, we sincerely appreciate your kind comments about the driver and the sightseeing spots visited during your trip. Your feedback is valuable to us and will help us continue improving both our communication and our services for future travelers considering this experience.
