Our favorite part of the tour was Peggy’s Cove. It is a charming fishing village with a wonderful historic lighthouse. We also enjoyed the public gardens. The flowers were beautiful even through the pouring rain. The citadel was interesting and our driver timed it so we were there for the firing of the cannon at noon as well as changing of the guard and the playing of the bagpipes. We had a great tour.

The best part of our cruise was our amazing tour with Zamir! He is extremely knowledgeable, kind and fun and we felt so safe with him. We learned so many interesting things about Nova Scotia and its history and wonderful people. The 50 minute ride to Peggys cove Zamir shared stories of points of interest all a long the way. He was amazing. He also knows all the great places to take pictures and he took some fun and beautiful pics of us at Peggys Cove. Enroute to the Titanic cemetery he shared a wealth of knowledge and stories of the Titanic that were incredible! Zamir was amazing! He was professional, on time, car was very clean and he even had bottled water and rain ponchos for us. The weather was not ideal for our limited time in Halifax, but Zamir had so much information to offer us and was flexible with what we wanted to do that the rain did not damper our tour in the slightest! Our tour guide was wonderful very knowledgeable and took time with us . He was just like a friend we had known. We went to titanic graves and he told us about some of them. And gave us plenty of time in Peggy’s cove. We went to the old fort he is a fantastic guide.

Peggy’s Cove was beautiful and the cemetery was very interesting. Unfortunately, this was a private tour but our guide mostly drove. I have been on other private tours and the guides were interactive talking and giving information the whole time. This didn’t happen so the trip was disappointing.
