Personalized and Intimate. Stan made this trip a memory to think fondly of and will reminisce on the experience often

Stan was a wonderful tour guide, and it was really nice to have a private tour with just our family so we could stay at Whistler for however long we wanted to. It was raining that day, but was still a really nice tour. We also did the sea to sky gondola, which is definitely worth it. We went with our 12 yo and 15 yo and they very much enjoyed it. Waterfalls were beautiful, and Stan was very knowledgeable. Thank you!
Hi there, Thank you for the great feedback! We’re so glad you enjoyed your private tour with Stan — he always brings positive energy, rain or shine. The Sea to Sky Gondola is such a spectacular stop, and we’re happy it added something special to your Whistler experience. Hope to see you again for more unforgettable journeys with
Amazing experience! I had such a great time exploring Vancouver with this agency. The team was super friendly, organized, and knowledgeable about the best local spots. Everything ran smoothly, and I felt safe and well taken care of the entire time. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to experience the true beauty of Vancouver in a fun and stress-free way!
Hi Mariana, We’re so happy you had such a smooth and enjoyable time exploring with us! Our team truly enjoys sharing the best local spots and making things easy for our guests. Thank you for your kind words, and we hope to see you again soon for another Vancity Tour adventure.
Tour operator did not know that Whistler’s Cable Car was closed to the public until June 10 (this was June 7) - and it was a. 2 hour drive away. The excursion was advertised as an Olympic Village yet there was nothing except retail stores and restaurants. We paid over $1200 for a day of driving. I think Seb, our tour guide, felt bad, so he drove us in traffic around the city. Was not knowledgeable when I asked questions. I’m shocked because this is the first time we have had a bad excursion and have taken dozens over the years. Tremendously disappointed and feel ripped off.
We are sorry to hear about your disappointment with the tour however the Peak2Peak gondola is not part of our tour, it’s is an extra activity much like kayaking, mountain biking ,zipline. Unfortunately some activities are seasonal and are not in our control. We always recommend clients to book their extra activities in advance to avoid disappointment. Going to whistler is a 10 hour tour and we do our best to make sure our luxury fleet gets you there in comfort and style, the activities being external are not something we have control over. We wish you the best and hope that adds clarity. Vancity Tours
Came to Vancouver a few days ahead on an Alaskan cruise. We booked this tour full-day tour to see more of the area. Sabastian, our tour guide, was right on time and was really knowledgeable about the area and the best places to see along our route. He gave us the backstory on the places we traveled through on our way to Whistler.
Erik was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. Great scenic drive to Whistler in a comfortable roomy vehicle. Nice stop at Shannon Falls. Plenty of time at Whistler to look around and do the Peak to Peak gondola. Great views. Would recommend.
Eric provided us with a friendly and insightful tour. We felt as if we had known him for years even though we had only just met. Nothing was too difficult for him. We got to experience Whistler and some wonderful stops along the way. We would highly recommend the tour, it exceeded our expectations.
Thank you recommending Vancity Tours! Our Whistler Tour is a great way to experience the world renowned Sea to Sky Highway and the Whistler Village which is awesome in the summer and the winter! Our guide Erick gets great reviews because of all the reasons you mention. Thanks again for sharing your experience!
My husband, my sister and I had the pleasure of taking this private tour from Vancouver to Whistler. Eric was our guide and he was totally the best. He was professional, attentive and fun. The drive up there was amazing. Eric pointed out so many things for us that we never would have noticed otherwise. The weather was nice and the only bad part was some smog from the wild fires in BC. But, we were still able to see a lot. Whistler was amazing. We took the trams to the top (for a cost of about 62 Canadian dollars each, which was well worth it. The lines were long, but moved well. Totally recommend doing this if you are able. There are tons of restaurants and shops. It was great to see the Olympic rings and flags. It was a great day. If you have the opportunity to take this tour, it is really exceptional.
Our Whistler Tour is a great way to experience the Sea To Sky highway and the waterfalls along the way. Summer and winter seasons both offer unique sights to be sure and we recommend this trip all year around. Thanks for sharing your experience with us!
This tour for 2 people was advertised for less than $250, but I was charged $562 instead. I didn't read the voucher closely when it arrived, so the credit card statement was a real shock! Erick was friendly and accommodating - but he acted about as much like a "professional guide" as the person driving the bus up to Capilano Suspension Bridge. He picked us up at our downtown Vancouver hotel, and for the first twenty minutes or so, he was full of information about everything we passed. Then we stopped at Shannon Falls. My boyfriend wanted to see it even though the road was covered in snow, so Erick pointed the way and had my boyfriend break a path. After that, Erick didn't say much until we got to Whistler. At that point, he dropped us off, told us where to meet him when we were done, and that was it. He offered no recommendations on places to shop or things to do, or even things to avoid. Later, on the way back, he was pretty quiet - no stories, information, or other "guide" activity. He didn't even offer us bottles of water (though the voucher said they were included). Essentially, Erick was a very friendly and charming taxi driver. I was disappointed and annoyed at the time to think that I'd wasted over $200. Now, seeing my credit card statement, I am beside myself to think that I spent $562 for a few hours' driving.
