Votre sympathique guide avec chauffeur vous souhaite la bienvenue et vous prend en charge depuis votre hôtel Negombo. En direction de Kandy, arrêtez-vous pour explorer l’usine de thé et les plantations de thé dégusterez enfin une tasse de thé de Ceylan.
Après l’usine de thé, vous visiterez un célèbre jardin d’épices et de plantes médicinales pour en apprendre davantage sur les plantes et les produits spéciaux de Srilank aux épices et aux herbes. Vous bénéficierez d’une expérience gratuite de massage de la tête et des épaules (spa)
Après avoir terminé votre jardin d'herbes, vous visiterez l'attraction principale de Kandy, temple de la relique de la dent sacrée inscrite au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO.
Enfin, visitez le jardin botanique royal de Peradeniya et revenez à Negombo.
Un parc thématique, symbolisant un ancien village du Sri Lanka sous le nom "Ape Gama", a récemment été commandé à Pinnawala, Rambukkana, près de l'orphelinat des éléphants de Pinnawala et du zoo de Pinnawala, récemment ouvert. Ape Gama, lancé par le Conseil provincial de Sabaragamuwa au coût de 50 millions de roupies, est maintenant ouvert aux touristes locaux et étrangers. Le parc à thème a été construit sur un terrain de quatre acres près de l'orphelinat des éléphants de Pinnawala et du zoo au bord de la rivière Ma-Oya. Il symbolise les antécédents sociaux et culturels, la situation économique, l'agriculture, le statut religieux et spirituel et beaucoup d'autres de nos ancêtres qui vivaient dans les temps anciens.
Le jardin botanique de Peradeniya attire chaque année 2 millions de visiteurs. Il est près de la rivière Mahaweli (la plus longue du Sri Lanka). Il est réputé pour sa collection d'orchidées. Le jardin comprend plus de 4000 espèces de plantes, dont des orchidées, des épices, des plantes médicinales et des palmiers. Y est attaché l'herbier national du Sri Lanka. La superficie totale du jardin botanique est de 147 acres (0,59 km2), à 460 mètres d'altitude, et avec une pluviométrie annuelle de 200 jours. Il est géré par la Division des jardins botaniques nationaux du ministère de l'Agriculture.

Packed so much in to this day and was guided expertly by Mahesh throughout. Started with the Spice garden which was really interesting and even got an unexpected massage! Watch out for the hard sell in the shop though, and it's not cheap! Then off to the Botanical Gardens, which are beautiful, but the highlight was the bats...so see if you can find someone to point you in their direction by the river. Next it's the Tooth temple which is impressive, and out guide talked us round brilliantly. Quick stop for luclnch before turning for home via the tea factory, which is a speedy stop but well worth it. Great shop here and the staff are great and much less pushy. Finally, we ditched the included ape gama village trip and paid extra for a quick visits to the elephants. From Negombo this is a 13hr day but you you do get a lot done! Thanks again Mahesh
Good day out with comfortable vehicle and very friendly, personable driver. Spice Garden was very interesting as was tea factory. Temple visit was good, but have seen much more ornate & interesting temples, and the temple guide’s English was difficult to understand which didn’t add to the experience. Can’t comment on the Botanical Gardens or Pinnawala Ape Gama as we ran out of time and were unable to visit, which was a disappointment as we had paid for those stops and they represented 40% of what we expected to do. Company should either reduce the number of activities or manage the timings better. Overall a good day, but definitely scope for improvement

The trip was amzing. We saw a lot of things we've never seen before. An ancient village, ayuvedic farm, elephants, a teeplantage with ceylon tea and the tea manufacture and a Buddha temple. It was an interesting trip with good information about the country. The tour was good, from negombo and back, and our gide is a friendly and correct man.
