Cette excursion privée d'une journée échange les foules de Gizeh contre trois merveilles plus calmes, chacune animée par votre propre égyptologue agréé. À Saqqara, vous retracerez où la construction de pyramides a commencé. A Memphis, le colosse déchu de Ramsès II et le grand sphinx d'albâtre marquent la première capitale égyptienne. À Dahshur, vous pouvez marcher vers le haut et toucher la pyramide pliée et la pyramide rouge de Sneferu, les expériences qui ont rendu Gizeh possible. Itinéraire
Vous arrivez à Saqqara, où se trouve la pyramide des degrés de Djoser, la plus ancienne pyramide de pierre sur terre. Bien plus calme que Gizeh, cette vaste nécropole vous permet d'explorer à votre rythme. Vous marchez parmi des tombes décorées de hiéroglyphes remarquablement préservés et descendez dans des chambres funéraires qui se dressent depuis plus de 4000 ans. Votre égyptologue privé donne vie aux pierres, expliquant comment la construction pyramidale a commencé ici et ce que les sculptures signifient vraiment.
Vous continuez vers Memphis, la première capitale d'une Égypte unifiée, au milieu de palmiers ombragés. Ici, vous vous tenez devant la colossale statue déchue de Ramsès II et le grand sphinx en albâtre, sculpté dans un seul bloc de pierre. Votre Guide explique comment cette ville autrefois puissante a dirigé la politique, la religion et le commerce du monde antique, et pourquoi il en reste si peu en surface aujourd'hui.
Votre dernier arrêt est Dahshur, où la foule s'estompe et le désert s'ouvre. Vous marchez jusqu'à la pyramide coudée et la pyramide rouge de Snéféru et pouvez poser votre main sur des pierres posées il y a 4 600 ans, ce que la grande pyramide de Gizeh ne permet plus. À la pyramide rouge, vous pouvez descendre dans la chambre funéraire principale. Our guide Tarek was outstanding. Super nice, friendly, and very knowledgeable. The trip was amazing.
This was the first of the 2 tours we booked from Egypt Day Tours, during late November. We were picked up from our hotel at 8 in the morning in a (clean and new) private sedan by our driver and Sara, our tour guide. The tour was excellent. Sara was very polite, friendly and knowledgeable, and gave us the full history of the places we visited, such use, historical details, explanation of the hieroglyphs etc. Also, compliments to the driver, for his calm and safe driving. The tour started with Sakkara, where you can find some of the best preserved burial sites, continued with Danshour, where you can enter one, or both pyramids and finished at Memphis where you can see the giant statue of Ramses II. We were treated to a tasty meal at a very nice restaurant (soft drinks were $1 extra) and returned to our hotel during early afternoon. They offered to continue the tour, if we wanted to visit anything else, but we were to tired, as it was our 4th day in Cairo. All in all, I highly recommend Egypt Day Tours. They were easy to communicate via email, transparent about the itinerary and pricing and they all went above and beyond to help us have a great time. I rarely see such levels of professionalism and whenever I'll return to Egypt to visit Luxor, I will contact them.
We were excited to make the tour with a knowledgeable archeologist who showed us a variety of tombs and pyramids and provided a comprehensive lesson on Egypt. He was fabulous!

This was an excellent tour. Our guide Sayed Bazuka was very knowledgeable, informative and very attentive to my elderly parents. We were able to explore authentic Egyptian crafts as well during the trip. Well worth it.

We spent the day with Ahmed visiting Saqqara, the Red and Bent Pyramids and Memphis. Ahmed proved to be a thoroughly knowledgable and passionate guide. He was flexible (allowing us to sleep in an extra 30 minutes before starting out!) and pleasant. The information he provided about all of the sites we visited gave us a much clearer understanding of what we saw. As it was the first time we had seen the pyramids in person, we were fortunate to have Ahmed guiding us. Thanks for a great introduction to Egypt, Ahmed.
Sayed was an excellent guide for our trip to Sakkara, Memphis and Dahshur! Pickup was on time and everything went extremely smoothly. We also really appreciated the snacks and drinks! And getting to go inside the Bent Pyramid and Red Pyramid was really amazing! Sayed is a legitimate Egyptologist and shared so much fascinating information we never would have known otherwise. I really enjoyed the outing with the professional guide being well versed in ancient egyptology. Saw some of the best artifacts and views the ancient world has to offer! Highly recommended!

Hosni gave us plenty of information about ANCIENT ancient Egyptian history. Information that we didn't hear about in our other tours.
