Je m'appelle Kevin et on pourrait dire que je suis un interprète culturel, pas un enseignant (transmettre des connaissances) ou un guide touristique (indiquer des choses). Je ressemble plus à un anthropologue inversé : un initié expert local expliquant et partageant la culture et l'histoire de Rothenburg avec mes clients curieux. J'anime des marches exploratoires et des expériences culturelles improvisées. Les informations sont présentées d'une manière qui permet à mes invités d'établir leurs propres connexions mentales car, après tout, une visite avec uniquement des informations intéressantes est de l'infodivertissement. Les visites les plus mémorables sont celles qui font réfléchir et ressentir les gens. Rothenburg, apparemment épargnée par le passage du temps, est une ville sur la route romantique qui se trouve à env. A 1h de route de Nuremberg. Elle est connue pour son centre-ville médiéval et ses remparts du XIVe siècle, pour la plupart intacts. Au Moyen Âge, Rothenburg était une ville impériale libre, atteignant son apogée de prospérité au XVe siècle.

Mon excursion d'une journée à Rothenburg part de Nuremberg à 10h et revient à Nuremberg vers 18h, 7 jours sur 7, qu'il pleuve ou qu'il vente. Rothenburg est connue pour son centre-ville médiéval et ses remparts du XIVe siècle, pour la plupart intacts. Cette visite vous mènera à tous les sites historiques intéressants de l'enceinte médiévale de la ville qui font partie intégrante de la riche histoire de Rothenburg. Certains des sites que nous explorerons sont la porte du château et le jardin du château avec sa vue sur la vallée de la Tauber, Plönlein (petite place) et la tour Siebers, l'impressionnant bastion Spital et la maison du travailleur manuel de 1217. Après la visite, vous Vous aurez le temps de visiter le musée du crime, de vous promener le long des remparts médiévaux de la ville ou tout simplement de magasiner et d'explorer toutes les charmantes rues et ruelles de cette ville médiévale bien préservée. Mon excursion d'une journée à Rothenburg est une visite à pied tranquille, adaptée aux enfants, où VOUS définissez le rythme. N'oubliez pas de porter des chaussures de marche confortables.

I had an amazing tour of Rotenburg. From the time Kevin picked me up in Nuremberg, to the time he dropped me back off at the end of the day he was extremely knowledgeable and provide interesting information throughout the journey to and through Rotenburg. He allowed me to set the pace for the tour and I didn't feel rushed to move on if something caught my interest. He allowed me time to explore on my own and made sure I was comfortable with where to locate him before I ventured off on my own. He had a terrific recommendation for a lunch location. I would definitely reach out to him again if I am find myself back in the area and in need of a guide.

We stayed in Nuremberg and traveled to Rothenburg for a Christmas market day trip. Kevin was very knowledgeable about the history of the city during a private walking tour with him, followed by a tasty lunch and shopping time.

Kevin was very knowledgeable and interesting on our 8 hour tour. Loved the history of rothenberg o b t . Lots of little known facts about the town and its prior members midevil residents. It was emotional to hear and experience where Jewish families lived and parished during the midevil plague and WW2. With only a brass square in the sidewalk to commemorate their existence. It’s sad no Jewish families are living in Rothenberg today. Knowing history is the only way to prevent it from happening again.
