Dans l'après-midi, vous vous rendrez au monastère de Bachkovo - le deuxième plus grand monastère de Bulgarie, créé au 11ème siècle. Il est célèbre pour l'icône du mariage de la Vierge, qui est enseigné à être miraculeux et des milliers de personnes chaque année viennent le voir. La plupart du temps, les Voyages se font avec des voitures écologiques - avec moteur cng ou mobiles électro, afin que nous puissions aider à lutter contre la pollution de l'air.

The tour was well organized. Our guide Alex was friendly and well-prepared with lots of historical facts. Communication from the company could have been better. Emails took days to get a response and after the initial payment weeks in advance there was nothing received from the company until the evening before pick up.
Very nice, Nicholas was very accommodating and gave us good information and history of the Plovdiv area.
A great day trip out of Sofia. Well organised and good value and very convenient with the hotel pick up/drop off 😀 Our guide was Lubomir who was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Bulgaria and the Sofia/Plovdiv area.

An excellent day trip from Sofia. We enjoyed visiting the charming old city of Plovdiv … the views are amazing and the old buildings beautifully restored. The monastery was definitely worth the additional drive out of Plovdiv … it was a treat driving through the beautiful countryside up to the monastery but the situation and inside the church of the Monastery was like nothing we had seen before … it was awe inspiring. Our driver/guide, Lubomir, was brilliant … he ably gave us an outline of the history of the Balkan Peninsula and the history of the Sofia area … we enjoyed his company and came away from the day much better informed than we had been at the beginning of the trip. The vehicle we travelled in was immaculately clean and comfortable and Lubomir was a safe and considerate driver. Thank you 😊
