Nous commencerons cette visite dans la matinée, en partant du hall de votre hôtel de la mer Morte (côté jordanien) et en descendant l'autoroute du désert pendant environ 3 heures pour rejoindre le site étonnant de la ville de Petra. La superbe ville rouge rose de Petra, joyau de la couronne jordanienne, se trouve à 240 km au sud de la capitale animée, Amman. Établie vers le VIe siècle avant J.-C. par les Arabes nabatéens aventureux, cette tribu nomade a transformé la région en un centre de commerce animé qui s'étendait jusqu'en Syrie. À votre arrivée, vous embarquerez pour un voyage à cheval passionnant dans le canyon enchanteur de Siq, suivi d'une délicieuse promenade au monument du Trésor à couper le souffle. Vous rencontrerez également d'autres sites remarquables, y compris la charmante rue des Façades, les impressionnantes tombes royales et le fascinant château du Pharaon. De plus, il est intéressant de noter que Petra a gagné sa place comme l’une des nouvelles 7 merveilles du monde!

Vivez une aventure mémorable d'une journée à Petra en partant de la sereine mer Morte. Votre sympathique chauffeur viendra vous chercher chaleureusement à votre hôtel au bord de la mer Morte et vous emmènera ensuite en voiture panoramique sur le site emblématique de Petra. Détendez-vous et admirez la vue imprenable pendant que notre chauffeur Anglais vous guide le long de la pittoresque route du désert jusqu'à Petra. Une fois arrivé au centre d’accueil de Petra, votre chauffeur vous aidera à acheter vos billets et un Guide local (facultatif) vous fournira plus d’informations sur l’architecture et l’histoire de la région.
La superbe ville rouge rose de Petra brille vraiment comme la principale attraction du magnifique pays de Jordanie. Fondée vers le VIe siècle av. J.-C. par les aventuriers arabes nabatéens – une tribu nomade inspirante qui s’est installée ici et a bâti les fondations d’un empire commercial florissant s’étendant en Syrie – Pétra a une riche histoire qui ne demande qu’à être explorée. À votre arrivée, vous pouvez commencer votre voyage à cheval (si vous le souhaitez!) à travers le canyon captivant connu sous le nom de Siq, puis continuer à pied pour vous émerveiller devant le Trésor à couper le souffle, le monument le plus emblématique de tous. Tout au long de votre aventure, vous rencontrerez également d’autres sites fascinants, notamment la rue des Façades, les tombeaux royaux et le château du Pharaon. De plus, il est intéressant de noter que Petra a été honorée comme l’une des nouvelles 7 merveilles du monde!
Une fois la visite terminée, vous trouverez votre chauffeur qui vous attend au même endroit où vous avez été déposé (Centre d'accueil). De là, vous pouvez vous préparer pour votre voyage de retour vers la mer Morte, ou si vous préférez, vous pouvez choisir d'être déposé à l'aéroport ou à un autre endroit de votre choix dans la région d'Amman.

We had a fantastic day exploring Petra from the Dead Sea with our driver Bardaghawi. He messaged us the day before to confirm a pick up time and arrived at our hotel on time. He was very friendly and knowledgeable pointing out points of interest and stopping a few times on the way to take in the amazing views. On arrival at Petra he instructed us where to go and let us explore it at our own pace we just needed to message him when we wanted picking up. In my opinion this was a great way to see Petra as we weren't tied down to another people could explore at our own pace and really just enjoy the experience, thanks again Bardaghawi!

The tour with Mohammad war perfect. He was just in time at the pick up place und brought me fast and secure to Petra. On the way we stopped at beautiful photo spots for taking pictures and Mohammad is a true cinematographer:)

We had a full day tour to Petra from our hotel the Kempinski at the Dead Sea. Our driver Mohammad bardaghawi was wonderful. It is a long journey about 3 hours from the Dead Sea, he gave us information on the way about the region and we made a couple stops, one for Turkish coffee and the other at a local shop before we started the last leg up the mountain to Petra. We had a private guide for 2 hours once inside Petra, then we walked the famous 800 steps to the Monastery and it was so worth it. If you don’t want to walk there are donkeys you can get as well. There is a wonderful place to eat run by the locals at the top with a nice view of the Monastery. It was not crowded at all due to the conflicts in the region but it is safe and can’t believe we experienced this wonder of the world with no large crowds, if you are wanting to go please do the people are very nice and welcoming to tourists and like to share their cultural heritage with you! It was a surreal experience to be able to travel to Petra.

We booked a tour with a pickup from Hilton Dead Sea Resort with all entrances and a guide pre-booked at Petra. Anas was our driver and he was exceptional. The drive was comfortable and smooth with some interesting stop-offs along the way. His knowledge of the history of Jordan and Petra was excellent and made the 3 hour drive pass by very quickly. At Petra he came with us to sort the tickets and introduce us to our guide for the day. After a great tour Anas was waiting to collect us for the drive back to the hotel. Would definitely recommend this tour to others.

Very enjoyed the trip, thanks Viator and R&H VIP transport and services,especially for Mustafa the VIP driver, very helpful and so nice person and also nice car for us, too it was so very comfortable car.Mustafa gave us some informations about the trip,he was very kind person and fluently in English and he picked up at the Deadsea area and then after the end of the trip he drop us directly to the airport and we had been treat like VIP guests.
