Au cours de ce circuit, différents paysages alternent tout au long du parcours rendant le voyage plus agréable. Le meilleur aperçu de ce qui vous attend à Mostar est une visite à Počitelj, le petit village sur la rive gauche de la rivière Neretva, à 30 km de Mostar. Aujourd'hui, c'est plutôt une ville-musée, mais c'était un centre culturel important au cours des siècles passés. Son mur défensif et ses tours, même s'ils sont partiellement conservés, sont encore très impressionnants et méritent d'être explorés. Après la pause à Počitelj, Mostar est la prochaine étape. À Mostar, vous vous sentirez comme si vous étiez dans un Orient exotique, mais cela n’a rien d’étrange si l’on considère que Mostar a été sous domination turque pendant des siècles. Il est également connu comme un lieu où l’Orient rencontre l’Occident. L'expérience de Mostar ne sera pas complète sans un repas traditionnel dans l'un des restaurants locaux. La dernière étape de notre visite sera les magnifiques cascades de Kravica, appelées « l'oasis dans la pierre », protégées par l'État comme une rareté naturelle.

Itinéraire
Remontez la côte Adriatique après votre prise en charge à votre hôtel. Tournez vers l'intérieur des terres à travers le pittoresque delta de la rivière Neretva jusqu'à Pocitelj. La ville fortifiée de Pocitelj est un exemple bien conservé de l'architecture orientale située à flanc de colline au-dessus de la rivière.
Au fil des siècles, Mostar et sa région ont été le lieu de rencontre des cultures et des religions qui ont laissé des traces bien visibles aujourd'hui. Mostar doit son nom aux gardiens du pont (Mostari) qui gardaient le vieux pont sur la rivière Neretva.
Les cascades de Kravica sont l'un des plus beaux sites naturels de la région hergovinienne de Bosnie-Herzégovine. Il y a aussi des attractions supplémentaires comme le camping, la natation et un petit café où les gens peuvent simplement s'asseoir, discuter et profiter de la beauté générale du lieu.

Niko was a perfect driver. He speaks excellent English. He drives late model well maintained car. He knows all the border crossings and found one with no delay. This can be a big issue if you get stuck behind tour buses. Niko was very knowledgeable about the history of the region , and although he is not a guide, he prepared us well for what we would see in Mostar and also gave us a good recommendation for a restaurant for lunch. Al in all a very enjoyable day!

We had an amazing day trip from Dubrovnik to Bosnia, visiting Mostar and the stunning Kravica waterfalls. The journey was smooth and well-organized from start to finish. At the suggestion of our hotel we used this service for a day trip to Mostar and Medjugorje! Our driver Dennis was fantastic!!! He was a wealth of knowledge regarding Croatia and the sharing of his life experiences from the war made the trip even more special! He made both stops easy on us and was very flexible. After Mostar he took us for lunch to a winery in Bosnia that was excellent!!! This company also arranged a private local guide for us in Mostar and he did a great job as well.
We had fun - Mostar tour was great, local guide (Mirna) was terrific - our driver/guide Denis was very personable - one suggestion, go to waterfalls first because crowds were bad in the afternoon
I booked this trip for my mother in law to be able to go back to the town where her grandfather came from. I will be honest and say I was nervous about the trip. I was nervous if that region was safe, if I had chosen a reputable company, what would the border crossing be like, and whether or not we can make it back to our cruise ship in time. From the moment we booked, the communition with Niko was great. He always responded in a timely manner and answered all of our questions. Our driver, Denis, put us all of my worries at ease the moment we met him. He was an extremely kind person with a wealth of knowledge on his country. You can tell he loved his country and was very proud of it. He has an interesting story and we enjoyed hearing so much from him. He even made sure to include our teen and young adult child in the conversations and helped to keep everyone engaged. Plus the car we got picked up in was very clean and had great air conditioning! Denis got us to Mostar and passed us off to Dino, a Mostar guide. Dino was extremely knowledgeable and provided a wealth of information to us about Mostar. He was great! Dino took us to the restaurant that Denis booked for us for lunch. It was amazing. We had a view of the Mostar bridge and even got to witness some jumpers. It was beautiful and the food was delicious! The restaurant was called Urban. I never once felt unsafe. Denis did an excellent job of getting us across the borders and most importantly he got us back to the ship with a minute to spare! We were the last ones to the ship and laughed about it but thanks to Denis amd Dino we had an amazing time! I highly recommend this tour and these guides. These were some of the nicest people we met on our travels that went above and beyond to make sure we had the experience we came for.
