Beautiful day; Maddalena is the perfect guide, she welcomed us and made us feel at ease right away. She explained every place we visited, creating in us the curiosity to know and learn about what we were seeing around us. Luxor has wonderful treasures and I highly recommend the experience, especially together with our Maddalena.

Very good guide, and thanks to the guide, in addition to the included visits, we saw the Papyrus and Alabaster factory. We are very satisfied with our visit, which was made possible by our excellent guide, Hala.

A super day with many exciting experiences. Smooth process. We especially liked the planning by tour guide Mark. Always arrived before the large group tours and therefore had time to look at everything in peace. Overall a very successful day with wonderful memories - not just for the children.

Great day where Samira listened carefully to our wishes. Our knowledge is quite basic and the guide responded well. She knows a lot but didn't tire us of too many details anymore. Just right. It was hot and we provided enough water ourselves. Airy long clothes and good shoes are useful. And a fan and a cap or cloth. And sunscreen. Visited; valley of the kings and incl Tut Ankh Amun. Karnak temple and Hatshepsut temple. Lunch in a good restaurant (nice and fast eaten). And another trip down the Nile sailed. Everywhere they try to cheat you out of some pretty intrusive money (getting your child to ride in a cart, taking pictures for you, going to the bathroom, giving a cardboard fan, very young children with everything for sale,...). Just don't get into it. The driver was on time and always at the location. Perfect. Our hotel did not want to let the car into the hotel complex at the agreed pick-up time due to security, so we had to walk to the main entrance at 3am. The excursion seller also found it annoying that we had booked with an online provider, because I put my family at risk by just booking somewhere online. And I had better cancel and he could do it all of a sudden for the same amount. But Viator is fine and these reviews were good. Our car quickly passed all checkpoints along the way, so fine. And there will be another excellent review from me. Top day!

Today from Marsa Alam visited Luxor; Valley of the Kings and three burial chambers and additionally the tomb of Tut Ankh Amon. Then temple of Hatshepsut and the Karnak temple. Nice lunch in a restaurant. A nice short cruise on the Nile. We also visited a craft factory where we bought a small basalt mask as a souvenir. Everyone wants to sell you everything; a visit to the toilet, a cardboard fan, a photo they take for you, or holding the wheel of the boat or the cart. That's a little pushy sometimes. Our guide Samira knew a lot to tell. We are not connoisseurs so for us basic information was fine, she switched on well. We were ready for the next visit relatively quickly and we succeeded. It was hot today; cotton clothes, hat on, good shoes, a fan, sunscreen work best because a lot is outside. It is good to bring water and arrange breakfast. However, the driver stops regularly for a sanitary stop or a cup of coffee. There'd be water in it, I didn't see that. Furthermore, a really perfect day with a guide who responded well to our wishes. Our hotel would not cooperate and the private car with driver was not allowed to enter the holiday park “because it was booked online”. Even the excursion vendor of the hotel advised against this trip, I would put my family in danger and he could do it for the same price, this gentleman would not have a permit and would not be properly insured. Well, a collection of crap. Finely arranged and they are as checked on the road for correct papers as other organizations.. No problem neat on time and competent. Top day!

Maddalena was truly top-notch! A super expert and competent guide, being an archaeologist, she told us the true Egyptian history. The 2 stops at local shops, such as the sandstone workshop and the spice shop, were also very pleasant; everyone was super kind and absolutely not pushy about selling their products, with really no obligation to purchase. The Pickup and transport were excellent. Totally private tour; it was just the 3 of us and Maddalena going around the various sites. An experience to absolutely do and highly recommended. Thanks above all to Maddalena, the best guide ever!

Professor Ahmad Elsisi was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and easy to understand throughout the entire tour. I highly recommend him. The tombs in the Valley of the Kings were absolutely incredible, and the Temple of Habu was genuinely breathtaking. We were supposed to do Karnak but he recommended Habu instead and we couldn't be happier with that decision. Having Ahmad explain the history and significance of each site made the experience even more memorable. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Egypt.

We booked a trip today 8/5/2026 to Luxor valley of the Kings it was really beautiful. The guide we had with us was so friendly and could speak very good English and knew a lot about history every question you had he could answer. I was with my aunt sister-in-law and brother. And we all had a wonderful day. Also the taxi ride afterwards was perfecht stopped twice on the way and they changed drivers a few times. I can only say fantastic. The guide again highly recommended..:)

Unforgettable experience in Luxor, in the Valley of the Kings where our guide Mahmoud welcomed us and told us the history of these wonderful temples! I must say that we had a very good time with Mahmoud as a guide who knew how to make the tour fascinating from beginning to end, even during travel times he involved us and encouraged us to live the Egyptian experience in Luxor 100%! He involved us in the storytelling and left us time to walk around and take photos; once finished, it was truly a nice mix of culture, fun, and I must say, even some reflection on the modern city! Thanks a lot also to Omar, our driver who was always punctual at every meeting point and available for any need! Truly a very beautiful experience enriched by their professionalism and availability!
