Le temple Wat Phnom est le plus important de tous les temples de Phnom Penh. Le temple a une relation étroite avec la capitale. Situé au sommet d'une colline couverte d'arbres de 27 m de haut, Wat Phnom est sur la seule «colline» de la ville.
Le Monument de l'Indépendance à Phnom Penh, capitale du Cambodge, a été construit en 1958 après l'indépendance du pays vis-à-vis de la France. L'exceptionnel Monument de l'Indépendance est l'un des monuments les plus frappants de Phnom Penh.
Le mémorial de Norodom Sihanouk, également appelé la statue du roi père Norodom Sihanouk, est un monument commémorant l'ancien roi Norodom Sihanouk situé à Phnom Penh, au Cambodge. La statue de bronze mesure 4,5 mètres de haut et se trouve sous un stupa de 27 mètres de haut dans le parc à l'est du Monument de l'Indépendance.
L'île de Koh Chen est populaire pour sa grande portée et ses souvenirs en bronze. Plus vous vous rapprochez de l'unique village de l'île, plus le son produit par les hommes martelant le bronze chauffé est fort.
Ce village est célèbre pour ses produits artisanaux en argent pur avec des objets tels que des miniatures d'éléphants, des boîtes ornées et d'autres types de travaux en relief. Les orfèvres coupent, façonnent et liment des feuilles d'argent avec précision pour créer des bijoux et des cuillères à café décoratives, entre autres.
La pagode Kampong Luong est un lieu de culte et le secrétaire du musée, qui était en charge de la mission, a eu beaucoup de mal à convaincre le chef de la pagode
Oudong était la capitale du Cambodge il y a quelques centaines d'années. Beaucoup de gens locaux visitent ici pour faire du tourisme et prier. Sur l'escalier menant au sommet de la colline, il y avait de nombreux singes. La vue du temple était super. Il y a un marché à proximité de l'entrée où les étrangers peuvent essayer des plats locaux spéciaux.

Les stupas d'Oudong sont également connus sous le nom de Chedis en khmer. Ils constituent un grand cimetière des anciens rois du Cambodge.

The tour is nice. 5 stars. But Do not buy any silver items from the local family store. The same products are available at the Royal Palace Shops for a third of the price. This family purchases these items elsewhere and falsely presents them as handmade. They also use children to promote their business and create an illusion of authenticity.

The round was done backwards, which caused the table time to be cancelled. A whole day without eating, but having to climb a lot of steps, is very difficult. Our guide, had a lot of knowledge, but did not speak very loudly, which required a lot of concentration. We saw the accommodation of the female monks, which was very interesting.

I loved the day trip on the outskirt of Phnom Penh. Oudong Mountain and Phnom Baset are remarkable in many ways: the views from atop, the buildings, the recent history. Mr. Tokk was my tour guide with Mr. Mean who drove us around all day safely. I enjoyed speaking with Mr. Tokk who's very knowledgeable and insightful about Buddhism, French colonization, and more modern history. I learned a lot and appreciate the Khmer people even more. We had lunch at a typical Khmer restaurant near Phnom Baset with hammocks and a bamboo hut. We also stopped at a silversmithing business in a village where Muslims and Buddhists live harmoniously. I highly recommend this day trip and both Mr. Tokk and Mean!

The Buddhist temples, homes and education were very eye opening, so full of history and culture. The local markers are something else with all the different bugs and foods they eat.

We took a private tour with Sophea and the driver was Simon. Thanks to them we had a very nice trip. Sophea showed us around the city, took time to explain everything patiently.
