Le bâtiment a été construit en 1920 selon les plans de J.F.L. Blankenberg. Au moment où la guerre du Pacifique a éclaté, le bâtiment servait de consulat général britannique. Pendant l'occupation japonaise des Indes orientales néerlandaises, le bâtiment est devenu la résidence du contre-amiral Tadashi Maeda jusqu'à l'arrivée des Alliés en Indonésie en septembre 1945, lorsque le bâtiment a été utilisé par les Britanniques comme QG militaire.
La dernière visite au magasin Batik Store a pris les racines du batik comme trésor national indonésien. Le batik a gagné en popularité pour sa beauté et son élégance. Comme le batik sera toujours un mode de vie, une déclaration de toute une nation, nous considérons le batik comme le moyen illimité d’exprimer son esprit jeune.

This was a Private tour for 5 people. Because it was just us the guide and driver, we were able to customize the tour to what we wanted we wanted to see. WE HAD AN AMAZiNG TIME! Great driver!!! We had so much fun! What a great day we had from noon until 7 pm. I'm a travel agent and I will do this tour again. The Lunch was INCREDIBLE at a local restaurant called Tekko. Our plan for coming Jakarta for ASEAN Meeting only but we have a full day free here. Then, we decided to discovery Jakarta. It was an amazing trip with lovely tour guide lady. We was really enjoy, happy & funny with our short trip in Jakarta ❤️
