Itinéraire
Kimolos est une petite île pittoresque à côté de Milos. Elle compte quelques villages de pêcheurs avec les maisons de pêcheurs traditionnelles, les "sirmata". Nous passerons par certains d'entre eux.
L'île de Poliegos est située à côté de Milos et de l'île de Kimolos. C'est une grande île inhabitée avec pour seuls habitants ses nombreuses chèvres sauvages ! Les formations volcaniques rocheuses que nous verrons sont uniques. La plage de Mersini sur l'île de Poliegos est un endroit aux eaux cristallines pour se baigner.
Galazia nera ou Blue Bay est l'endroit le plus fantastique de l'île de Poliegos. Il porte bien son nom puisque la couleur de la mer ici est turquoise et bleu clair ! Nous ferons un arrêt prolongé pour que vous puissiez profiter du paysage, explorer les fonds marins et les nombreuses grottes, et surtout, pour que vous puissiez vous connecter avec la nature majestueuse et oublier le monde !
Il s’agit de la plage colorée des Mines de Soufre qui mène au site mystérieux et abandonné des Anciennes Mines de Soufre. Super endroit pour les photos!
La plage de Gerakas à Milos avec son fond semblable à un léopard est une plage de sable blanc. Idéal pour la plongée en apnée sur les sites d'eau thermale très pétillants la plupart du temps ! Cet endroit n'est accessible que par bateau.
La plage de Tsigrado à Milos, avec son incroyable littoral de grottes, est également connue sous le nom de « plage de l'échelle ». Le seul moyen de descendre à la plage est par une échelle mais nous avons le confort d'y accéder en bateau !
Kleftiko est l'un des lieux les plus emblématiques de la Grèce. Nous nous arrêterons ici pour que vous puissiez prendre de nombreuses photos, puis plongerons dans les eaux claires avec un masque et les palmes que nous vous fournirons et traverserons les gros rochers volcaniques où se cachaient les pirates avec leurs navires !
Après Kleftiko, nous entrerons dans la grotte de Sikia et resterons pendant une courte période. C'est une très grande grotte ouverte sur le ciel, car le sommet est tombé à l'intérieur! Il y a une petite plage où vous pouvez nager. Comme c'est un endroit très populaire, nous le visiterons plus tard dans la journée, lorsque tous les autres bateaux seront partis!

It began with excellent communication before the trip. The morning of the trip, Michael met us right on time. He was knowledgeable and helpful. I can be a bit clumsy and he made sure I was ok. Most important, he made our trip so much fun. If you take this tour and he offers you homemade spinach pie, make sure to taste it! Jumping off a boat to swim was a bucket list activity for me and it didn’t disappoint!

Without a doubt one of the best boat tours my husband and I have experienced. Chris, our captain for the day, was outgoing and quickly became someone we would call a friend. He was able to assess our interest and catered the stops and time accordingly. Always making sure we were happy and comfortable. There were plenty of refreshments and we were able to stop for a fantastic lunch. The boat itself is perfect for touring the island. Perfect size to fit into picturesque coves where other boats can’t fit and they time their arrivals to avoid crowds. As for the islands … the only way to really see Milos and the surrounding islands is by boat in our opinion it is with Salty Rides. We booked this tour for our honeymoon, and it was hands down the best day of our honeymoon. From the start, the team messaged us to recommend we switch the day we went on the boat due to weather (which we would have never thought of). I highly recommend the full day experience -- Matt, our captain, was kind, professional, and flexible. It's the perfect way to relax and take in the astounding beauty of Greece. Absolutely the best thing we've done in Greece. Milos is beautiful and our tour guide, Manilos was so knowledgeable of the area. He engaged with us the entire time and that really made for a great experience. We had lunch and even went to see Polyaigos (goat island). We snorkeled, flew our drone, and saw some of the bluest water we've ever seen. I would recommend this experience to anyone and everyone. Salty Rides really lives up to their reputation and I tell everyone I meet how awesome this trip was.

I cannot express just how amazing this company is! We went on their full day, three island tour in August of 2023. It was TOP NOTCH service from start to finish. It was the highlight of our trip. You are treated as if you are family. They go the extra mile with special touches like authentic homemade Greek food cooked fresh that day by his Aunt; drone photography, and the most amazing towels EVER that were ours to keep. Not to mention the luxury, super fast boat, margaritas, and sea scooters. What really sets them apart is their customer service. Somehow we had lost one of their Salty Ride towels before we left Greece. I had only discovered it once we got home and unpacked. I contacted the owner to see if I could possibly buy another towel from him. I offered to pay for the towel and the shipping. He went above and BEYOND by shipping us, not one but TWO additional towels at no charge to us! How many companies would do that? Everywhere we go, we take a private boat tour. From Greece, to Lake Tahoe, to St Martin, to St. John etc. I can 1000% tell you that Salty Rides was by far our FAVORITE. None other even comes close to comparing. During our holiday in Milos, we embarked on a remarkable adventure with Salty Rides that left us with unforgettable memories to cherish forever. Opting for their Premium boat tour, we were fortunate to have Mike as our skipper and tour guide for the day – and what a day it was! Undoubtedly, it became the highlight of our stay in Milos. What was really helpful for us at the beginning of the trip was how Mike managed to ease our daughter's nervousness about the boat trip. After a previous unfortunate experience, she was apprehensive, but Mike's reassuring presence and attentive care quickly put her at ease. He then safely navigated us to breathtaking locations around the island, each accompanied by fascinating facts and trinkets of history. Among the amazing destinations we explored, Blue Bay captured our hearts as an absolute favorite. Its stunning beauty was genuinely awe-inspiring. The food offerings were Mike's mum's authentic and delicious Greek snacks which were available during the day and were ample so we opted not stop for lunch. But the real winners of the day were the paddle board and sea scooters, which provided endless entertainment for our kids. Their smiles were priceless as they explored the crystal-clear waters. From start to finish, the trip was flawlessly executed. Every moment spent with Salty Rides felt worth every cent. Our group of six had an outstanding day with Manolis in early June. It was our favorite day of the two weeks we spent in Greece. To see the island from the water added so much to our time there. Manolis took us to the most interesting spots and geologic formations, explaining the history and significance of everything we saw. We went to great beaches, some of which were accessible only by water, and swam in a beautiful cove with the most stunning turquoise-blue water you could ever imagine. We were lucky enough to see and hear a pair of monk seals, which are pretty rare. The boat was very spacious and comfortable for zipping around the islands and was the right size for getting close to the cliffs and into some of the caves. The whole day was a fantastic experience.
Sensational Boat Trip - We had a Perfect Day with Michali as he was the perfect host and Boat Skipper. Visited nearby Islands near Milos and quite a few secluded Coves for a swim. It was a great experience and we loved every minute on the Boat trip.
This was the highlight of our trip to Milos. Michalis is a legend, he is a terrific sea captain, awesome island guide, very artistic drone pilot and above all just a terrific host. We had an exception time. Michalis was happy to meet our changing requests especially places to swim and he was not a clock watcher – having returned a lot later than the allocated time. He also teamed well with his mum who supplied the homemade τυροπιτάκια – a highlight. We could not have hoped for a better day out. Thanks to Michalis & the team at Salty Rides. We had a fantastic time with salty rides! Mike is an expert who gave us a local experience and took us to all the secret spots around the three islands that are only accessible by boat. The scenery is breathtaking and we had so much fun exploring and swimming! This truly was the highlight of our two week trip, the intimate and private experience was fabulous and worth every cent - you must must book, you won’t be disappointed!!
