L'un des villages les plus caractéristiques des Cinque Terre avec une magnifique place, au point d'inspirer le disney pixar pour créer le nouveau dessin animé Luca. Nous vous recommandons fortement une halte pour déjeuner dans les restaurants typiques du village.
La seule ville des 5 Terres totalement bâtie sur la colline. Malheureusement nous n'aurons pas l'occasion d'accoster car il n'y a pas de véritable marina. Cependant, la vue depuis la mer sera toujours plus que satisfaisante
La vue depuis la mer de ce village est folle, qui revendique une belle tradition de Noël avec la reproduction de la crèche sur la colline devant le village. Nous visiterons la ville depuis la mer avec plusieurs minutes d'arrêt devant le village pour prendre des photos incroyables
L'origine du village de Riomaggiore, selon une ancienne légende transmise oralement mais non validée par des sources historiques, remonte au VIIIe siècle. En fait, il est dit qu'un groupe de réfugiés grecs, pour échapper aux persécutions de l'empereur iconoclaste Léon III Isaurico, après diverses vicissitudes, a débarqué à la pointe de Montenero et a établi des colonies dans la région de la crête. Arrêtez-vous au bord de la mer pour prendre des photos mémorables avec un fond fou de maisons colorées

Andrea was a great skipper. We motored from a Santa Margherita to his Cinque Terre. The boat was quite luxurious. He taught us about all the small villages along our journey. When we got to Cinque Terre, he had prearranged a lunch in a truely local restaurant - with the best seat in the house. We felt truly spoiled. We stopped for pictures along the way and had lovely conversations and about his love of Italy and the regions z

We had a great time with our captain! He was very flexible with location and time of pick up, and was able to make reservations in advance for lunch at one of the stops. We have a teenager and a 21 year old that loved the cliff diving! I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a personalized experience!!
The best part of Cinque Terra was the trip from Portofino by boat and back to Portofino. We were extremely fortunate to have found Andrea. His personality was delightful and his knowledge of each of the five cities was very extensive. When it was lunch time, he was able to make reservations at a spectacular restaurant with an amazing view, even though the restaurant was already totally booked. It would be hard in our estimation to find a better boat captain to enjoy Cinque Terra. I do not want to neglect mentioning his boat, I did not see a better one, it was clean with beautiful lines and handled the seas in comfort.
