Just arrived to a wonderful welcome at the Taj Bentota. What a beautiful hotel nestled between the most beautiful stretches of beach in Siri Lanka The property is just stunning and the service from Sibi the GM right through to everyone at the resort! Lovely and quiet at the moment with miles of lovely beaches to enjoy in solitude. Wonderful food ambience and service.
The communication we recieved from Bentota Travel was exceptional from the time we booked this trip prior to leaving the UK.We were picked up at 4.00am ,which meant we were at Ella before too many people were about.The whole day was well planned with TukTuks replacing the comfortable car where driving along narrow roads was necessary. The scenery was stunning throughout the journey.The early start meant arriving at 9 Arch Bridge before the crowds arrived. Our train journey from Demodara to Haputhale took us over the bridge a couple of hours later, and the there were many tourists there.which made our early morning visit more precious.Bentota reserved our seats which meant we were in the 1st class carriage. This didnt stop you looking the other carriages on the 1 hour 15min journey. Quite a site!! We then had lunch at a restaurant in Ella,before heading to Little Adams Peak and a tra factory. ( very interesting! and the tea csn ve purchased at a good price).there were many other memories from the day ,but Lahiru's patience and driving skills throught the day were exceptional. Thank you for looking after us throughout the day .I would highly recommend commend Bentota Travel Mart.
Another early start up at 0300 and a swift departure at 0400 - went high up into the country and mountains and saw a spectacular waterfall. Short road trip followed and then transferred to a tuktuk to visit the nine arches bridge which in involved a walk along the railway line with spectacular views all round! The train ride was brilliant and would you believe, the train caught fire! Chaos reigned until we were transferred to another train for onward journey to the Tea factory which was very interesting! Our driver for the week has been fantastic picking us up on time and pointing out interesting features along the routes - Thank you.
We took several tours with BTM and were very happy with the service. Ella was beautiful and our driver Dinesh was helpful and polite throughout. The company were happy to accommodate any personalised tour or transport required and very professional and flexible.
Very professional driver and experienced guide who knew all the best spots in the Park to see the animals. We got a really close encounter with a leopard.
We had an amazing trip to Ella and it was truly a memorable experience! The beautiful scenery, fresh air, and peaceful वातावरण made our journey unforgettable. It is a long day and an early start but we'll worth it. The train was amazing got to see he drivers cab and talk to the driver about his years on the train. Lunch very nice and our driver the best. The tea plantation was educational wish they had a shop
We booked this as we were only in Sri Lanka a short time, and wanted to see Ella. This was a great way to tick off a few of the sights without it taking up more than a day. It was a guided tour but not much information given on each location, but it was still really good. We’d definitely recommend this trip!
We had a fantastic time from being picked up promptly to throughout the whole day our driver Dinesh was very helpful and really looked after us. We saw everything that we had expected to see moving from one thing onto the next smoothly and not rushed. This is a very beautiful trip a long day but totally worth getting up early for.. Full marks to Bentota travel mart brilliant company to deal with would totally recommend and plan to use again when returning
