Je dirige une petite entreprise de visites privées, je serai donc votre guide et chauffeur, je vous montrerai le style local de la région. de Hvölsvöllur, nous conduirons aux racines de Hekla et conduirons à Landmannahellir après l'arrêt, nous continuerons jusqu'à Landmannalaugar et y ferons une randonnée et vous pourrez aller à la piscine géothermique si vous apportez une suite de bain et une serviette. sur le chemin du retour, nous nous arrêterons aux cascades et plus

de hvolsvöllur, il faut 2,5 heures de route jusqu'à landmannalaugar. Nous contournerons le volcan Hekla en direction de Landmannahellir, puis continuerons jusqu'à Landmannalaugar. sur le chemin du retour, nous nous arrêterons à Hnausa pollur et Þjófafoss
La cascade Þjófafoss fait partie de la rivière Þjórsá qui s'étend des hauts plateaux islandais jusqu'à la rive sud de la région sud de l'Islande. Ici, nous nous arrêterons pour jeter un coup d'œil à cette belle cascade. C'est un bon endroit pour prendre des photos et se reposer.
petit arrêt à la grotte Landmannahellir ici, entrerons-nous dans la grotte et vous pourrez prendre des photos de la région Landmannahellir est depuis de nombreuses années l'un des principaux lieux d'habitation des ramasseurs de moutons lorsqu'ils rassemblent chaque automne les moutons qui paissent dans cette région pendant l'été.

Awesome trip with Fred(Freysteinn) to Landmannalaugar for our family! We were very comfortable in his truck, never had to worry about safety and besides not even taking the chance of messing up a rental car on the F roads, the best part of all was learning so much about Iceland! We loved hearing Fred’s hilarious stories about his childhood as he grew up right in this area that we toured! We talked about anything and everything throughout the day and it felt like we were being escorted around by an old friend! What a different feeling than if we had joined a random group. The sights were beautiful of course, but having the chance to talk all day with someone who grew up in the area, is warm, funny, and such a great conversationalist made this a dream day for all of us!
Freysteinn is an amazing tour guide! A true Icelandic native, we spent the day sightseeing and learning about life in Iceland. We went through rivers to areas you cannot go without a guide and hiked, saw sights and had a throughly enjoyable and unforgettable day! He even sang us a Viking song while we visited a river running through a cave. Spoiler alert- he has an amazing voice.
Amazing tour! He showed us places around the Highlands the most people don't get to see. He was very knowledgeable, kind, and let us make as many stops on the road as we wanted to take photos. I highly recommend the tour. Thank you so much!!
First of all I would like thank the tour guide he is absolutely amazing, friendly, funny and can tell you interesting stories about the country. I'm icelandic and I was travelling with 4 foreigners and chose to surprise them with a guided tour and I don't regret it for a second! I really enjoy truck rides, the car was clean, comfortable and spacious. We all had an amazing time. The nature always amazes me and the rest of the group was left speechless. In landmannalaugar you can bathe in a hot nature lagoon and it's quite nice. As a native Icelander and on behalf of the rest of the group I can highly recommend this tourist service you will get an amazing experience. Thank you again I will be back :)
We enjoyed this trip a lot. Our guide shows us some lovely hidden waterfalls and other secret places. We are so lucky to have a great sunny day. We did a little hike with Fred and of course we're in the great warm river for a bath.
There is no better way to see and experience somewhere you have never been than to get off the beaten path with someone that knows the area like the back of their hand. Our day with Fred is a day I will never forget. Fred drove us to the highlands through lava fields and rivers to see magnificent waterfalls and lakes. He led us on a hike through lava fields filled with indescribable vistas. Fred's knowledge of the area is unmatched and he communicates the history of the area clearly. Fred's 4x4 is clean (I felt guilty getting in with muddy boots) and a very smooth ride. That day was a day well spent! I will definitely contact Fred when planning my next trip to Iceland.
My son and I spent a day with Fred touring Landmannalaugar and had a fabulous time. He took us to places that are his personal favorites and that I'm willing to bet few tourists get to see. The tour went a couple of hours over the scheduled time. We got our money's worth and then some!
