Découvrez une grande quantité d'histoire des Vikings lors de cette visite de 8 heures au départ de Stockholm dans la belle campagne Suédoise. Aventurez-vous en compagnie d'un Guide Expert local/régional d'histoire et faites connaissance avec les Suédois Vikings. Rendez-vous à Sigtuna, la plus ancienne ville encore existante de Suède et promenez-vous dans les maisons en bois traditionnelles du XVIIIe siècle sur la rue principale qui ont encore son âge Viking d'origine, voyagez dans le temps. Écoutez des contes sur la mythologie et les sagas vikings. Un autre point culminant de cette visite est les tumulus funéraires Old Uppsala qui font plus de 50 mètres de large / 150 pieds de large! Voir aussi la cathédrale d'Uppsala, la plus grande église des pays nordiques! Le transport depuis et vers votre hôtel est inclus.

Si votre circuit part du quai de croisière: Si votre navire arrive à S165 et S167 STADSGÅRDEN: Veuillez marcher quelques centaines de mètres de votre navire tout en suivant les lignes BLEUE / VERTE. Passez les barrières et les gardes, et votre guide vous attendra avec une pancarte indiquant "Tours vikings" sur un papier A4. REMARQUE: Si vous entrez un autre numéro de port dans STADSGÅRDEN que S165 ou S167, veuillez vous rendre à l'extérieur des barrières et des gardes et le guide vous y rencontrera à l'heure de la visite. Si votre navire arrive à F638 FRIHAMNEN: lors de l’écarcage du navire, veuillez passer par le terminal. Une fois que vous avez passé les portes coulissantes (toutes les personnes qui partent du navire en sortiront par ce chemin), le guide vous attendra juste devant les portes coulissantes. Le guide tiendra un papier A4 disant "Viking Tours". REMARQUE: Si vous entrez un numéro de port dans FRIHAMNEN autre que F638, veuillez vous rendre à l’extérieur des barrières et des gardes et le guide vous y rencontrera à l’heure de la visite. Si votre navire arrive à V523 VÄRTAHAMNEN: dirigez-vous de votre navire vers les bus touristiques situés à moins de 10 mètres de la coque du navire. Le guide vous attendra dans la zone des bus touristiques, près des bus, avec un papier A4, qui dit "Tours Viking". Le guide vous dirigera ensuite vers le véhicule de la tournée. REMARQUE: Si vous entrez un autre numéro de port dans VÄRTAHAMNEN que le V523, veuillez vous rendre à l'extérieur des barrières et des gardes et le guide vous y rencontrera à l'heure de la visite. Si votre navire arrive à NYNÄSHAMN: AUCUNE PICK UP INCLUS ICI. C'est à 50 km de la gare centrale de Stockholm. Nous vous recommandons de contacter et de décider avec nous d'un lieu de rencontre au centre de Stockholm. Nous vous indiquerons comment vous y rendre en train ou en bus de croisière allant du port à Stockholm. Si vous ne savez pas à quel port votre navire arrive, veuillez vous renseigner auprès de la compagnie de croisière.

A great tour of you want to know the history of the Vikings and see Runes and the Mounds and get the real information about the Vikings. Super informative and a really nice day out in the countryside.
Olof was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable about the Viking history as well as the general history of the region. We had a great day.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. It was great seeing some Swedish countryside as well as the stops included in the itinerary. As it was a private tour, we were also able to add in a visit to Drottingham Palace. Our driver and guide for the day was the amazing Calle. He was very knowledgeable, entertaining and friendly (he also did our boat tour the day before). Would definitely recommend Swedish History Tours especially if Calle is the guide.

This was an amazing and educational tour to Sigtuna and Uppsala.Our guide Uhlof (sp?) picked us up on time and gave us a lot of very informative information on the way out of Stockholm and at the sites we visited. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer our questions about the history of the areas we visited.He recommended a place to have lunch in Sigtuna which was delicious . As beautiful and historic as Stockholm is ,I don’t think I would have as good of a sense of Sweden without having taken this excursion. The countryside is gorgeous and the history fascinating. Uhlof spoke excellent English , had a good sense of humor and dropped us off at our hotel at the time he estimated at the start of our tour. I highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in Swedish history and getting a look at the Swedish countryside.

This is a completely immersive experience for anyone who wants to separate fact from movie fiction about the history, culture and lore of the Viking age. Our guide was an expert historian with deep knowledge of the Vikings and dozens of fascinating anecdotes and stories that helped us put this period of history into perspective. This tour exceeded expectations and we saw and learned many things at every stop that made this one of our best days traveling.

Excellent communication regarding pickup. Calle was informative, interesting, friendly, and flexible. He proposed a plan, but was open to changes. We learned so much, and had a wonderful time! Highly recommend!

My friend and I had a great time on our full-day tour with Olof midway through our trip to Stockholm. We enjoyed the chance to see some lovely Swedish countryside and learn more about the Vikings via their runestones. It was fun to visit Sigtuna (where we had a great lunch at a cafe called Valvet, recommended by Olof) and Uppsala, and we particularly liked seeing Uppsala Cathedral and the Viking burial mounds in Gamla Uppsala. Olof was friendly and informative and we felt very comfortable with him. Thanks Olof!
