Profitez de ce court voyage à seulement une heure de Shanghai pour découvrir le charme serein de la ville d'eau ancienne de Zhujiajiao. Au cours de cette visite de 9 heures et demie, vous explorerez d'anciens ponts tels que le pont Fangsheng, flânez dans les rues de la dynastie Qing et admirez l'architecture des dynasties Ming et Qing en plongeant dans les magasins locaux. Vous visiterez également le bureau de poste unique de la dynastie Qing, authentique temple bouddhiste Yuanjin de style rural. En chemin, vous dégusterez des collations locales telles que des boulettes de riz gluantes (zong zi) et du porc cuit à la vapeur enveloppé dans des feuilles de bambou (zha rou), ainsi que des bonbons traditionnels chinois. Cette excursion comprend également une promenade en gondole sur un site de détente. Zhujiajiao est une ville d'eau située à une heure de Shanghai. Il a été créé il y a environ 1 700 ans. Il comprend 36 ponts de pierre et de nombreuses rivières le long de la rivière Zhujiajiao. De nombreux bâtiments anciens bordent encore les rives du fleuve. Les nombreux magasins nichés dans les bâtiments historiques et les rues bordées de pierres regorgent de vendeurs de produits alimentaires. Les promenades en gondole le long des canaux sont des activités populaires. Le bureau de poste de la dynastie Qing et la visite du temple bouddhiste Yuanjin complèteront votre visite de la ville dans l’eau.
Ce jardin remonte à 1559 pendant la dynastie Ming. Un jardin chinois classique riche en histoire, vous verrez une large gamme de salles, statues, structures rocheuses, jeux d'eau, ainsi que les célèbres Grand Rockery et Exquisite Jade Rocks.
Le jardin de Yuyuan à proximité est le vieux Shanghai et son quartier complexe de boutiques, de rues et d’endroits pour goûter aux coutumes folkloriques de Shanghai, à des collations authentiques de Shanghai et à la cuisine locale. Les lampes colorées sur les bâtiments antiques en font également un magnifique paysage.

This was a lovely tour and we really appreciate being able to customize it to our own style. Our guide Peggy did a fantastic job touring us around and was accommodating to us even having a wonderful foot treatment by some little fish. Private tour is a way to go, you can see so much in given time. No waiting for other stragglers. It was just me and my wife and pace was just right for us. Having fluent English speaker that will give you informative tour of your visit with private driver that pick you up and drop you off at the site is perfect.

My mom and I did a private tour while in Shanghai. The driver and our tour guide met us at our hotel and messaged us when they arrived. Our tour guide, Angel, was amazing! She was so knowledgeable about the city and took us to the hot places and historical Shanghai must sees. She was also flexible and personalized our tour by listening to what we were interested in and made adjustments throughout the day to make sure we had an amazing tour. It was SO nice having our own transportation where we could leave our bought goodies and not having to carry them around. Plus, we didn't have to worry about the crowds in the subways. We were only in China for a week, so we needing to squeeze as much in as we could. We also used Jenny's tour company in Beijing. Recommend 100%!

Peggy gave us a great tour. Loved zhujiajiao and definitely recommend doing one of Jenny's Watertown tours. Peggy did a great job of showing us Shanghai sites. For lunch, she took us to a restaurant for locals and ordered us a lovely variety of typical Shanghaiese dishes. Delicious! Where do I begin? First of all, Summer is a spectacular guide! She is so friendly, knowledgeable and fun! Everything you’d want from a guide! My husband and I only had one day to see Shanghai and I’m so glad we booked this tour! Summer went above and beyond the entire day to make sure we were having the best experience possible.
