Le fort de Chittor ou Chittorgarh est l’un des plus grands forts d’Inde. C'est un site du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Le fort était la capitale de Mewar et est situé dans la ville actuelle de Chittor. Il s'étend sur une colline de 180 m de haut, sur une superficie de 280 ha au-dessus des plaines de la vallée drainées par la rivière Berach.
Le Vijaya Stambha est un monument de victoire imposant situé dans le fort de Chittor à Chittorgarh, dans le Rajasthan, en Inde. La tour a été construite par le roi Mewar, Rana Kumbha, en 1448 pour commémorer sa victoire sur les armées combinées de Malwa et du Gujarat dirigées par Mahmud Khilji. La tour est dédiée à Vishnu.
Kirti Stambha est une tour du XIIe siècle située dans le fort de Chittor, dans la ville de Chittorgarh, dans le Rajasthan, en Inde. La tour haute de 22 mètres a été construite par un marchand jain Jeeja Bhagerwala pendant le règne de Rawal Kumar Singh (environ 1179-1191) pour la gloire du jaïnisme.

I long awaited to go to Chittaurgarh fort as it symbolises Rajputs bravery moreover queens’ legendary tales of self immolation to protect their honour. Our guide Vinord did an excellent job narrating the history beautifully. Very much enjoyed our last fort in this visit to north India.
