Description

Amazing day seeing Capri and Anacapri

Alberto was great! Everything was taken care of for us once we got to Naples. They had to cancel our tour on the day we originally planned because of the weather. Definitely better to go in the summer time since Blue Grotto was closed and the water was extremely wavy. The day was a little rushed and we wish we had more time to go in the shops but we understood it’s not possible to see the whole island in one day. And the tour says to book a train home after 6:15pm but we were back to Naples by 4:20. Other than that it was a great day and Capri is amazing to see.

EXCELLENT

COMMUNICATION EXCEPTIONAL!TRULY HASSLE FREE ! Five DIAMOND service by the tour guides. From booking to end. You can make contact with the Booking Agent via WhatsApp. VALENTINA. She Replies in an accurate timely manner. CONSTANT COMMUNICATION for any need/accommodation. We bought our own tickets to CAPRI from ROME. (Via tren for 6:00AM) -as recommended by the tour booking agent VALE-via WhatsApp. We arrived one hour later as planned at Napoli, then take the 15 minute taxi ride to MOLO BEVERELLO (faster). THEN, arrived at the meeting point (the snack bar) OUR GUIDE - was THERE WAITING FOR THE SMALL GROUP (some people came from CRUISES). They introduce themselves and hand out your ticket to go in the JETFOIL (1 hour ride) to Capri Island. Our guide ALBERTO made the EXPERIENCE FANTASTIC!!! He is a professional, knowledgeable, fun and will make any accommodation/request happen yo the best to his ability. HE KNOWS the ISLAND inside out!! We went in every point it’s listed in the tour description. THIS TOUR TAKES YOU TO THE BLUE GROTTO and entrance it’s INCLUDED. We were so lucky since when ALBERTO. Announced the Blue Grotto was open! We all jumped with JOY!! We ENTERED! The tour takes you by bus and we waited only 2 hours at the grotto site (stairs). Note: the entrance to the blue grotto is ruled by weather, and by amount of boats waiting to enter. You go to the grotto OR other areas. (All tours are like this) it’s either or. Since we went to the grotto the other areas are explored in another boat for $20pp. And Alberto, also arrange that for you. He personally takes you where you need to go. Our exceptional guide also took pictures of us once in the boats to enter the grotto plus we could leave our small bags/water with him. Then - the to the bus to Ana Capri and the chair lift while we enjoyed fun and interesting commentary in perfect English! The bus always on time and air conditioned plus the expert drivers!!! Alberto our guide was always present/near by to answers any questions!! He went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care off. THE fact that you know you also have the Booking Agent - VALENTINA in WhatsApp and that she will reply, makes this tour reliable, trustable and PERFECT!! Highly recommend it!!

Wonderful day exploring all of Capri and AnaCapri. Loved the row boat into the blue grotto and chair lift up the mountain. A boat ride around the island is a must to end your day!

Paradise in Capri

Giorgio was our tour guide. He is a local from Capri, born and raised. It added so much to have him as our guide. We really learned so much. He was an amazing tour guide, so friendly and fun. We would love to come back.

Best experience ever! Our guide, Lucciana, made sure we made it to the blue grotto before the crowds and even booked us a reservation at a local restaurant for lunch. We really enjoyed this tour!

Honest review

I was by far the most excited for this excursion for my Italy trip. We took the train from Naples and was met at the train station. Once we arrived close to the port our guide Michele met us and we took the ferry to the island. Immediately he began discussing cutting the trip short and taking an early ferry home. We took a super cute green convertible car to the blue grotto. AMAZING. Then Michele began what we referred to as the disappearing guide act. He would show up for a min acting fairly disinterested then go away again, intermittently discussing the early ferry home. Finally he convinced us to take the early ferry by saying we could do a guided tour of Naples if we took an early ferry. We arrived back in Naples he walked us to an intersection told us where we could take a cab from and handed us 20 euros in cab fare. We were not happy with this arrangement but he insisted this was the only way. DISAPPOINTMENT Michele had also taken multiple photos of my family which I texted asking for and emailed the tour operator none were ever sent to me. For the steep price of this tour I would consider other options but for sure check out Capri and the blue grotto

HIGHLIGHT OF MY ITALY TRIP

- Take train from Rome to Naples (NOT included! Recommend high speed train, plan to arrive in Naples around 8, & the tour operator Lina will ask you for your arrival details) - 8:15 arrive in Naples, our tour guide Giorgio was waiting for us at the train exit with a sign with our name on it-- we did not expect a private tour, but Giorgio was our personal guide the whole day! Which was AMAZING since he's a Capri local - All transport after arrival to Naples was included (taxi ride from train station to harbor, jetfoil from Naples to Capri, taxi around Capri, jetfoil back to Naples, taxi from harbor to train station) - 10:00 arrive in Capri, we loved the taxi since it was a convertible car & we had 360 views of Capri the whole time! - 10:30 Monte Solaro chairlift to the highest point on Anacapri for gorgeous 360 views - 11:15 walk around the town, Augustus Gardens, lunch - 2:00 boat ride around the island; Blue Grotto was closed, but Giorgio recommended the boat ride since you see so much more & we can't agree more! it was so beautiful & luckily, our boat ride was pretty empty so we were able to enjoy so many views - 3:30 jetfoil back to Naples - 4:30 arrive in Naples, independently explored (MUST try the Naples pizza!) - 6:30 train ride back to Rome We cannot say enough great things about Giorgio!!! He pointed out so much of his island's history, even called out when other tour guides would lie about certain things haha! We were definitely not expecting a private tour with our own guide, but it's definitely the way to see a city, especially with a local! He helped us navigate through the town & avoid high-traffic times (we were pretty much alone on the chairlift, in the gardens and on the boat ride) so we can get amazing pictures with no one in the background. It was definitely the HIGHLIGHT of my trip!!!! Do not miss out on this tour!!

Nice tour if you want to visit Capri!

We had no idea what to expect as it was our first time to Capri, and our tour guide, Luigi, has made it a very fun and effective tour. Got to see the Blue Grotto with like 5 mins waiting in line and must say it was probably the highlight of our trip to Italy. Took chairlift to Mount Solaro with little time waiting in line. Also he showed us very nice gelato place. We got to see the major highlights around Capri before the weather got so hot in the afternoon.

***** Five Star Tour *****

We had the most incredibly day visiting Capri thanks to Sabrina! She made our trip an experience we'll never forget from beginning to end! We wanted to see a lot in a short amount of time and she customized the trip exactly to our request, while adding a few things to our itinerary that we didn't even know existed and absolutely loved! We saw all the highlights of Capri and Anacapri including the stunning blue grotto! Thanks for such an amazing trip! We'll be telling all our family and friends to definitely not miss this tour!
