Excursion privée d'une journée au lac Toya et Noboribatsu Hell Valley

A most satisfying day trip from Sapporo. We visited the must-see sites like Lake Toya and Hell Valley. We also spent time doing things that felt so local and authentic such as having ice-cream at Lake Hill Farm, admired the blooming flowers, sampled some local berries, saw a few cows, had lunch at a roadside restaurant, bought corn and edemame at the local market, and bought white coffee from Family Mart with extra Hokkaido milk. What was most heart-warming was being welcomed by smiling senior parking attendants working at these remote tourist spots - older gentlemen in high-vis vests energetically directing traffic, looking like their key objective in life is to help people find parking quickly so they have more time to enjoy the sights.

The perfect way to see some of the amazing things nature has to offer in Hokkaido. Yumi is an incredible tour guide. She has designed a wonderful full day trip to experience the natural beauty of Hokkaido.

An amazing day trip to Lake Toya and Noboribetsu Hell Valley! The scenery was stunning, and my guides made the experience even more special with great insights and smooth travel. A perfect way to explore Hokkaido’s natural beauty!

We booked the one day Lake Toya and Hell valley tour with Sumi and Taki. It really was the highlight of our trip to Hokkaido! They truly made us feel like family. Sumi is very knowledgable and you can feel her love for nature and Hokkaido. We had fun exchanging language tips with Taki as he was interested in learning Spanish, and we also learnt a few Japanese words! The organisation of the trip was impeccable and we will no doubt book again with them if we come back to Hokkaido, hopefully to explore more of the northern part of the region.

We absolutely had a wonderful excursion with our knowledgeable and thoughtful guides! The nature and scenery were beautiful and we never could have experienced it without this tour.

Sumi and Takei were great guides! Conversation along the way made the drive pass quickly and we were lucky to have great weather for viewing the Mount Usu and Hell Valley. The onsen foot bath at was a soothing way to finish the excursion. Highly recommended!

My husband and I had a fantastic time on this private day trip. We were only in Hokkaido for a few days and knew that we wanted to visit this national park but didn't feel up for renting a car and doing the navigation ourselves. Sumi and Taki were excellent tour guides - they were incredibly knowledgeable and also very sweet. It was really special to do a tour with people who are from Hokkaido - we learned a ton about the history of the region and also the role Hokkaido plays in Japan's modern agriculture. They were also so kind to take pictures for us throughout the trip - some of my favorite pictures from my trip are ones that they took of us! The sights at Lake Toya/Mt Usu were stunning. We also stopped for lunch at a great restaurant and a few less-traveled souvenir shops. I would 100% recommend this day trip to anyone visiting Hokkaido. If we ever make it back to Hokkaido we will definitely do another one of their tours!
