Il s'agit d'une excursion d'une journée complète au lac Toya et à la vallée de l'enfer de Noboribetsu, destination la plus visitée par les amoureux de la nature et ceux qui recherchent une atmosphère paisible à Hokkaido. Nous contemplons le lac aux eaux cristallines et explorons la zone géothermique active du mont Usu. Des sources bouillantes jaillissent de Jigokudani, connue sous le nom de vallée de l'enfer. Nous pouvons explorer le paysage de la vallée avec des sentiers faciles où vous pouvez voir des bulles se former et de la vapeur de près.

Le mont Usu est un volcan qui a éclaté quatre fois au cours des 100 dernières années. Son éruption la plus récente s'est produite en l'an 2000. Le téléphérique d'Usuzan vous rapproche du sommet du volcan. Des paysages à couper le souffle depuis la plate-forme d'observation, qui comprend le mont. Yotei, lac Toya, péninsule d'Oshima et océan Pacifique.
Le lac Toya est un lac de caldeira qui a été créé par une éruption volcanique majeure qui a eu lieu il y a des dizaines de milliers d'années. Il a un périmètre d'environ 36,5 km et au centre se trouvent quatre îles: Oshima, Kannon-shima, Benten-jima et Manjuu-jima.
Noboribetsu Hell Valley est situé dans le centre d'Hokkaido, est l'une des principales stations balnéaires Onsen du Japon avec la source de ses sources trouvées à Noboribetsu Jigokudani. Une promenade dans la Vallée de l'Enfer permet de se promener en toute sécurité dans cette mystérieuse zone volcanique. En outre, vous marcherez jusqu'à Oyunuma et un bain de pieds naturel.

We booked the one day Lake Toya and Hell valley tour with Sumi and Taki. It really was the highlight of our trip to Hokkaido! They truly made us feel like family. Sumi is very knowledgable and you can feel her love for nature and Hokkaido. We had fun exchanging language tips with Taki as he was interested in learning Spanish, and we also learnt a few Japanese words! The organisation of the trip was impeccable and we will no doubt book again with them if we come back to Hokkaido, hopefully to explore more of the northern part of the region.

Sumi and Takei were great guides! Conversation along the way made the drive pass quickly and we were lucky to have great weather for viewing the Mount Usu and Hell Valley. The onsen foot bath at was a soothing way to finish the excursion. Highly recommended!

My husband and I had a fantastic time on this private day trip. We were only in Hokkaido for a few days and knew that we wanted to visit this national park but didn't feel up for renting a car and doing the navigation ourselves. Sumi and Taki were excellent tour guides - they were incredibly knowledgeable and also very sweet. It was really special to do a tour with people who are from Hokkaido - we learned a ton about the history of the region and also the role Hokkaido plays in Japan's modern agriculture. They were also so kind to take pictures for us throughout the trip - some of my favorite pictures from my trip are ones that they took of us! The sights at Lake Toya/Mt Usu were stunning. We also stopped for lunch at a great restaurant and a few less-traveled souvenir shops. I would 100% recommend this day trip to anyone visiting Hokkaido. If we ever make it back to Hokkaido we will definitely do another one of their tours!

Hell Valley was a truly awesome geothermal location with a lot to see, experience, and smell. There are several walking trails to various locations within the park. Some trails keep you nearest to the geothermal mountains while others take you through the forests. All the trails you'll need good shoes and be in decent health for because there are some narrow passes and a lot of up and down hill portions that could be slippery at times. Bring water and keep your phone charged for GPS purposes.
