Hiro was punctual, pleasant and spoke English very well. He was easy to find as he had a sign with my name on it. His car was very spacious and was in immaculate condition. We were able to bring my mother’s foldable wheelchair. He took us to the Nagasaki highlights and took lots of good pictures of our group. He also took us to a Pokémon store and Chinatown as extra stops. He was very attentive to our group. I highly recommend his company. He made our visit a very easy, stress-free and memorable one!

Enjoyable 4 hour tour that covered the key highlights of Nagasaki. The car service was essential since the city is very vertical. We booked a half day tour via Viator for our large group of 13 people that was conducted by Nagasaki Private Tours, led by Hiro Takahashi. Despite it being a half day tour, we were able to see all the important and most impressive sights in Nagasaki, such as the beautiful historical Glover Garden, the touching Nagasaki Peace Park and somber Atomic Bomb Museum, the breathtaking views from Mount Inasa ("10 million dollar night view"), Spectacle Bridge, etc. Our tour guide Hiro is an excellent English speaker who had studied in the US. He was friendly, patient, very knowledgeable and knew all the best places for castella, champon, and saraudon, the noodle specialties of Nagasaki. I'd highly recommend Hiro and Nagasaki Private Tours anytime you visit Nagasaki!
Thank you so much for this wonderful review! I'm truly touched by your kind words. But honestly, it was your group that inspired me. Learning that you have been friends for over 50 years — scattered across the world, with no email or social media to keep you connected, yet somehow finding your way back to each other — moved me deeply. The fact that you are now traveling together is a beautiful testament to the power of friendship. It was an honor to spend the day with all of you. I hope your journey together continues for many years to come! Akihiro Takahashi Nagasaki Private Tours
