The tour was not as described. We were picked up at the hotel in a car, which was very pleasant as it was just the two of us and the driver sitting inside. We picked up our guide and drove to El Gouna. Once there we took the boat about an hour through the canals of the city. Advantage was again that on the boat were only the captain, the guide and us. After the boat trip we went straight back to Hurgharda to a shop where you could buy all the junk you want. Right across the street, we were told, is the Papyrus Museum, which turned out to be a sales show. After that our guide said goodbye and the driver took us back to the hotel. In summary: Private short tour of El Gouna followed by sales tour of Hurgharda. Duration incl. Transfer 4 hours. The transfer alone was about two hours. The points from the description of what is to take place in El Gouna, nothing has taken place except the boat trip. Conclusion: The tour is not worth the approximately 100 euros for 2 people. Not recommended.
