I travel often but rarely find family If you’re coming to Addis Ababa, ask for Daniel! Seriously, I cannot recommend him enough. What started as one day of touring turned into THREE DAYS STRAIGHT because he was that amazing. By the end of the trip, David wasn’t even just my tour guide anymore — he became my brother! ❤️ David showed me an incredible side of Addis, from the museums and historical sites to amazing local food, culture, neighborhoods, and hidden gems that I probably would have never experienced on my own. He knows the city extremely well and has a way of explaining the history and culture that makes everything so much more interesting. What really stood out to me was how genuine, patient, respectful, and welcoming he was. I never felt like I was just another tourist. He genuinely cared about making sure I had an unforgettable experience, was comfortable, and got to see and experience as much as possible. And the price was extremely affordable for the amount of time, knowledge, attention, and experience he provided. You get so much more than what you pay for. By the end of three days, I felt like I had known David for years. We laughed, ate incredible food, explored the city, learned so much, and made memories that I will never forget. 🇪🇹❤️ If you’re visiting Addis Ababa and want someone who is knowledgeable, trustworthy, fun, affordable, professional, and genuinely cares about his guests, David is your guy! It was an excellent introduction to Addis Ababa -my guide Daniel was very friendly, accommodating and flexible, his English is excellent, his knowledge was superb, and he let me set the pace, which I greatly appreciated. The driver was also very accommodating - the private tour was enjoyable and very relaxed and I felt like a queen.

The tour was great. Daniel is a great guy and guide. Even though my tour started in the afternoon, we could make it to visit the National Museum and Entoto Palace, before closing. Since my tour was on Sunday, Merkato was closed so Daniel managed to find other interesting sites to visit before the end of the tour, that were not originally considered. I would not hesitate to recommend booking Daniel’s tour while on a short layover in Addis.

Our half-day tour of Addis with Dani and his driver was more than we’d hoped for. He was absolutely wonderful with my eight-year-old son, at one point even lending him his coat. We now count Dani as not just a guide, but a friend.

Perfect half-day trip for my connection in Addis Ababa. It really gave me a grasp of the city and it's fascinating history and vibrant modern life. Daniel is a great guide; he was evidently very knowledgeable about the city he loves, and was very funny and friendly. Would recommend to anyone who finds themselves in Addis Ababa.

I had a fantastic tour with Dan, he's a proper local lad, honest and knows everything about the city. At the same time, he is relaxed and doesn't rush you around or try to fill voids with talking too much. He's a good laugh too, takes a genuine interest in our lives and to be honest he was a real asset when we went to the markets, he got me a real bargain on some swimming shorts by bartering the seller down from $50 to $2, although that might have been due to our shared premier league football interests! He's a brilliant guide, I wish him all the best, he has a true love for his city and I'll always have a good memory of Addis Ababa and all the local people we met along the way. All the best, Adam

Danial did a great job giving us a tour of Addis during our short layover. He was very available before the trip and made sure everything during the tour went smoothly and got us back to the airport on time. Highly recommended.
