We had a group of 8 for a bachelorette party and booked the tour to explore a bit of the Snake River and the Tetons since many of us had never been to Jackson before. Our guide, Matilda, was incredible - so friendly, sweet, and knowledgeable about the river and the wildlife we were able to see. Lunch was included for our tour, which was so worthwhile and convenient as we did not have to go downtown and make a reservation at a restaurant for a large group. We were able to see 22 bald eagles in the wild, as well as marmots, osprey, beaver dams, and views of the mountains. Would definitely recommend, especially if you are a first time visitor and looking to do something relaxing and not super intensive.
We loved our float down the river with a stop for lunch. We saw lots of eagles and overall it was very relaxing and a nice way to see the beautiful landscape
Griffin was awesome. Such a fun trip
Awesome trip. Saw 22 eagles along the route and a river otter. Our guide griffin did an outstanding job. Highly recommend.
Matilda was an awesome guide! Our group broke her all-time bald eagle sighting record at 22 bald eagles during the roughly 2.5-3 hour float. She explained some of the most common flora and fauna, and generally was just a super friendly and fun person to spend a morning on the water with! At the end of the float, after a brief float through minor rapids, we got to attempt rowing the raft ourselves and gained even more respect for her guiding abilities. Wear clothes and shoes that can get a little wet! Thank you, Matilda!!
Griffin and Matilda were excellent guides. Very professional and friendly. We had a fun group of people on the raft. It was beautiful , peaceful and very scenic. More than a dozen bald eagle sightings. Everything from todays trip was seamless and enjoy able
Isaac was great…very competent, conversant, knowledgable, and focused on a positive customer experience. Would recommend for a relaxing reconnection with nature and the beauty around us. Well done from pickup to drop off. Thank you!
Isaac was an excellent guide!!! Shared great information during the float experience. In fact, I believe he was this best guide I’ve had in my years of guided tours. Great job Isaac!
What a spectacular way to experience Grand Teton National Park! This 13-mile scenic float on the Snake River was one of the highlights of my entire trip. Gliding along the calm water with the Tetons rising dramatically in the background, it felt like floating through a postcard. Our guide pointed out bald eagles perched high in the trees, marmots sunning themselves on the rocks along the bank, and ducks gliding right alongside the raft. The pace was so relaxing — no rapids, no rush, just quiet water and incredible scenery in every direction. After days of early mornings and adventure, this was the perfect way to slow down and just take it all in. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a peaceful, wildlife-rich way to see the park from a completely different perspective.
Perfect float with lunch. Matilda was knowledgeable and sweet. She truly made the experience fun!
