If you are blessed to have Mark as your tour guide, you will be overly excited and expectations exceeded. Mark was personable, professional, and quite knowledgeable. Moreover, he was timely and I felt just went beyond the norm. We will return!
Be aware: This is a walking tour! If you’re not able to walk for 90 minutes, choose something else! In fact, my senior citizen friend and I booked same day, and by the time we realized that we had paid $99 each to WALK around, we couldn’t get any sliver of our money back. We feel misled. Also, the title says American Side, but it starts on the Canadian side! Total rip off. Maybe Mark is a very nice guy, but are we the only people who have been deceived in this way? I doubt it.

The tour does not start in Canada. Additionally, the experience is advertised as a guided walking tour, and the itinerary and tour details describe the walking involved throughout the experience. Unfortunately, it appears that you did not join the tour, which may have contributed to the confusion regarding the route and inclusions. That it is not clearly advertised that the tour leaves from the US side & not the Canadian. For locals it might have been obvious but for overseas visitors it was not. Therefore we missed the tour as we were waiting at the Hard Rock Cafe on the Canadian side & by the time we worked this out with the guide who was there 5 minutes late anyway @ the correct meeting point, there was just not sufficient time to cross the boarder on foot without making it a very late & tiring night. Plus it was suggested the view from the Canadian side which we could see from our hotel was better anyway. We were advised to cancel & request a refund, which we did but did not receive. As there were six of us, this was an expensive lesson we didn’t need.

The title of this experience is clearly listed as “American Side of the Falls”, and the tour description, meeting instructions, and all promotional photos consistently show locations on the U.S. side of Niagara Falls. One of the highlights of this experience is the opportunity to walk right up to the falls on the American side for incredible close-up views and photo opportunities. Unfortunately, your group went to the Hard Rock Cafe on the Canadian side, which is in a different country and not the advertised meeting location. Our guide was present at the correct U.S. departure point and waited for guests before departure. The guide was also in communication with you in an effort to assist. We respectfully disagree with the statement that the Canadian side offers the better experience for this particular tour. Guests specifically book this tour because the American side provides a unique and immersive perspective directly beside the falls, which is exactly what is featured throughout the listing. While we understand this situation was disappointing for your group, the tour operated exactly as advertised and as booked. We always encourage guests, especially international visitors, to carefully review the meeting location and tour details prior to departure to ensure a smooth experience.
Booked from Australia, didn’t realise tour was out of the US side of Falls waited outside Hard Rock Cafe Canadian side. Other tour booked on same website picked us up from hotel which is why there was confusion.

I showed up at the meeting point at the scheduled time and place, but the guide did not show up. I called the number given, but the number is nonexistent VERY BAD

Don't believe the hype about "the Canadian side" begin better. This tour takes you up close to one of the most spectacular natural wonders in the word. It's amazing.

Oh my goodness, it was such a fabulous experience! out of all the tours that my friend and I did in Niagara Falls… This one was my favorite. It was so beautiful to see everything litup at night and Marc was a fabulous tour guide who had so much information and was so much fun. Truly a great experience.!

Guide didn’t show up. Didn’t contact. It definitely was a scam and they don’t reply to your messages

Our guide, Marc, was present at the meeting point and waited for guests; however, as this is a shared group tour (not a private experience), the tour must depart on schedule out of respect for all other participants. After a short waiting period, the tour proceeded with the guests who had already checked in. My son is 11 we traveled just the two of us. Brian was awesome. Very informative and kept this interesting. My son learned a lot.
Need to specify that it was a walking tour. Not worth the money. Guide was great but thought it was a totally different experience since we’ve been here before
