Amazing experience with Byron!! 10/10 recommend. He was very knowledgeable and made the tour that much more enjoyable. Not only was a full of knowledge, but he also sang and made our tour that much better.

Smiley is very knowledgeable and excellent guide.

This was by far the most disappointing tour I have ever taken. Our tour guide, Smiley, was very unprofessional, and at times the driving felt unsafe, including going through a couple of red lights. Throughout the tour, there were far too many personal stories and repeated personal opinions about the monuments and places we were visiting. We were hoping to learn more about DC and its history, but much of the commentary focused on his personal experiences and opinions. At the MLK Memorial, Smiley stood directly in front of the trolley exit and directed everyone to go left to see the MLK statue, when the FDR Memorial was actually to the right. There was also very little information provided about the Korean War Memorial, which is a beautiful and incredibly moving memorial. Instead, we heard a great deal of commentary about menu items and several of his personal “favorite” Smithsonian museums. The tour felt rushed, disorganized, and lacked the historical information we expected. Overall, it was an absolute disappointment and not the experience we were hoping for when visiting Washington, DC.

We had a tour scheduled for 9am. No notice that there wouldn’t be a tour until 12 because of streets being closed due to a race. Was told when we called about it. We could catch the metro and ride to Arlington ( which we have to pay for) then switch to another bus. Check in with security. Walk on our own until about 12:30 because that’s when first bus would be there. No mention of discount for losing 3 hours of our paid tour. No cancellations allowed. You just leave about 15 people standing at train station with no service. Very poor business. I won’t use you guys ever again in the future

I've taken a few of the DC trolley tours during the day and evening in the past years and this is the first time I ended up disappointed with the tour. We had a great driver/guide who was funny and very informative but the 3 stops were only for a short time each and some of the older people on board didn't have the time to even walk to the monuments. I will probably choose a different tour company when we visit again.

Driver/moderator was very good almost amazing. Really enjoyed the experience to see the downtown area and see the monuments/memorials.

MJ was knowledgeable, energetic, and funny. We enjoyed his stories. It was a powerful stroll through history. The Lincoln Memorial and the World War II Memorials were well lit but several of the other memorials were challenging to find in the moonlight since it was only half moon. Bring your flashlight that does help.

We were apprehensive about spending $70 each for the Moonlight tour but we were pleasantly surprised how great it was. Smiley was an excellent guide and made it fun, he REALLY enjoys his job! I highly recommend the tour. DC in the Moonlight is definitely better than Escanaba in the Moonlight (I'm from Michigan).

Smiley was our driver and what an incredible experience!!! He delivered in a major way. We are visiting from San Diego, California and this is worth the spend!!! Educational, wonderful experience, entertaining, time well spent and so much more. Smiley’s personality, knowledge and experience shined through in our tour. 5 star driver and tour guide!!
