Excursion matinale d'une demi-journée à Stonehenge au départ de Londres, entrée incluse

Description

I was really looking forward to this Stonehenge tour and willingly paid a higher price just to join their early morning departure. To make sure I wouldn’t be late, I woke up at 5:00 AM and commuted to South Kensington, arriving right before 7:00 AM. Their pre-trip email heavily emphasized how unpredictable London traffic can be and strictly requested everyone to arrive 15 minutes early. As customers, we all did our part and arrived on time. Sadly, the driver didn’t arrive on time. At 7:30 AM, we were told the bus would be 10 minutes late, but we eventually waited for over 20 minutes and didn't set off until 7:56 AM. The guide explained that there was a traffic accident ahead and repeatedly stressed, “it’s not on us.” While I understand accidents happen, it was disappointing to hear them use “it’s not on us” to distance themselves from the situation so quickly, leaving us, the punctual customers, to bear all the consequences. Because of this delay, we only arrived at Stonehenge at 10:10 AM. By then, the site was already packed with crowds from all the standard, cheaper tours—completely defeating the purpose of booking an early premium tour. What saddened me the most was the lack of compensation for the lost time. The website clearly promised 2 hours of sightseeing, but since we were strictly required to return to the bus by 12:00 PM, we only had 1 hour and 50 minutes there. I feel so let down. I sacrificed my sleep and paid extra money for a premium, crowd-free experience, but ended up with a rushed tour surrounded by crowds. It just feels very unfair that the company takes no responsibility for a service they failed to deliver. If you are booking this for the "early bird" advantage, please beware.

Firstly, this was not sold as a premium price tour it is an average price and a half day guided tour to Stonehenge. After all there was an accident on the motorway and the driver was late, we do apologise for this, but this is out of our control. Our guide was there to talk to passengers and let everyone know what was happening. There was a half hour delay but we did tell our team to give the correct amount of time at Stonehenge. Sorry that you felt rushed , but crowds come by 10 am in high season . This accident was serious and out of our control . If you wish for me to send you the link to the accident - I can. Maybe as humans we could be more understanding on certain matters.
Operator never got back to me about my different starting location. If it wasn’t possible to accommodate my location they should’ve cancelled my booking. I mentioned the location in the booking notes and sent multiple messages but i never got response. I had to find a diff company.
Hi there, We do not start from different locations in London, this is clearly on your booking confirmation with Viator. I think you are mixed up with another tour operator. London is too large to be picking up from different locations.
Magical place to visit at least once in your life. The bus was comfortable, the driver was very informative, and we did have enough time to enjoy the site to. Nice to let someone else worry about the traffic.
They are very punctual! Don't be late to board the coach at the time they tell you. The tour was great. Tiger was very knowledgeable about the area. The time spent at Stonehenge was just right.
Excellent trip. The tour ran on time, we got a lovely commentary from the guide and it was good value for money! Thank you 🙏
During the 2 hour bus ride, Bela gave a nice overview of the history of Stonehenge. I was glad I downloaded the Stonehenge app to get a lot more details when touring the site. I did not have enough time to explore any of the exhibits before getting back on the bus. It was a good way to get to Stonehenge for a brief visit.
The tour guides were very knowledgeable and the tour itself was very fascinating. The transporting was very clean. The bus stops halfway there for an around 10 minutes.
This is the most convenient and simple way to enjoy Stonehenge. Louise was a wonderful guide: informative, funny and could read the bus for quiet nap time. Diana was our driver and it was a smooth drive - lulled everyone to sleep. We also had several seniors on our bus including my own and they enjoyed the self faced but timed tour thoroughly. Thank ladies for a wonderful day.
Travelling with my family n kids. Light drizzle on n off but overall experience was great. Theres a short toilet n munch break before heading to shuttle bus. Everything On time and we are able to get good picture with stone henge. Thanks to Louise and the Lady Driver for the enjoyable infos and safety for our destination.
