Monte Brasil est un volcan éteint avec formation dans la mer et où nous avons une vue imprenable sur la ville d'Angra do Heroísmo. Nous aurons le temps de marcher et d'apprécier les vues, les animaux et la nature.
Remontez le temps à São Sebastião, où se trouve l'une des plus anciennes églises de Terceira, datant de 1455. Admirez son architecture historique et ses fresques anciennes. À proximité, visitez un Império traditionnel – une chapelle colorée au cœur des festivités du Saint-Esprit des Açores – offrant un aperçu du riche patrimoine culturel et religieux de l’île.
Praia da Vitória – Temps libre pour explorer Profitez de votre temps libre dans la charmante ville de Praia da Vitória, ville natale du poète Vitorino Nemésio. Promenez-vous le long de la plage de sable fin, promenez-vous dans la marina et le centre-ville, ou détendez-vous simplement dans un café local - imprégnez-vous de l'atmosphère paisible de la côte à votre rythme.
Marchez sur des formations de lave qui sont à l'origine de véritables piscines naturelles et, aussi, des vignobles traditionnels pour la production de vins et de liqueurs. Apportez votre maillot de bain car vous aurez l'occasion de profiter de l'eau. Après cet arrêt, nous ferons une pause pour un déjeuner où vous pourrez déguster la cuisine typique de Terceira.
Algar do Carvão et visite alternative Algar do Carvão est actuellement fermé en raison de travaux de construction. Bien qu’il ne soit pas disponible, nous visiterons plutôt une ferme de café et de fruits locale. Cet arrêt alternatif offre une occasion unique d'explorer une plantation biologique avec des bananes, du café, des fruits de la passion, et plus encore - ainsi qu'une explication guidée de la façon dont le café est cultivé et transformé sur l'île. Une expérience savoureuse et immersive dans la vie agricole de Terceira !
Nous continuons vers Serra do Cume, où nous trouvons l'un des plus beaux points de vue du Portugal, avec un paysage inoubliable.

We had the best full day tour of Terceira! Learned so much about the island, had a fabulous Azorean lunch, visited some beautiful spots & our tour guide was so friendly & knowledgeable. Would recommend Terceira Tours to anyone who is visiting the island.
Our guide Ivo blended history, geology, and humor effortlessly, making the island’s culture come alive. If you want a fast but meaningful introduction to Terceira, this tour nails it!!
Very interesting tour. Carolina had been very informative, happy to adjust the tour based on weather conditions and our preferences and she answered all questions. The lunch was excellent featuring typical Terceira dishes. Strongly recommended.
We did a half day walking trail and full day explore of the island with Ivo Silva. Can recommend highly! Ivo adapted our half day hike to fit my ability and it was really memorable seeing the colourful mural along the path at the beginning, the volcanic inlets, and then watching the terns. Perfect for us. On our full day tour we went to the oldest church, learned about imperios and the cultural and community significance of Holy Ghost in people’s lives. We met the oldest improvisation singer on the island, visited Praia de Victoria, sea filled rock pools, had a wonderful lunch, tasted local cheeses and went down inside a volcano / lava vent. It was all unhurried, we had time on our own, Ivo answered our many many questions. Perfect trips. Thank you!
From the first contact to the last moment, everything went almost perfectly – the schedule, the confirmation, the care at the hotel pick-up. But what we lived was much more than just a tour. It ended up being an intimate experience, almost as if the island had opened up only to us. We were just me, my wife and Ivo—guide, host and, at the bottom, someone who quickly ceased to be just that. Nothing was rushed. There were no rushes, no crowds, no time pressures. There was space to breathe, to feel, to absorb every landscape, every silence, every detail. And what a beauty... an overwhelming, concentrated beauty of those that are left on our chest. The outsiders are of a disarming sympathy — genuine people, of easy smile and open heart. We always felt welcome, as if we belonged there. We asked Ivo to handle the lunch, and once again everything exceeded expectations: delicious, generous food, served with soul, in a welcoming atmosphere that only reinforced the charm of the day. More than showing us the island, Ivo introduced us to stories, people and moments that are hardly forgotten. In the end, we didn’t just take photos — we took memories, connections and a huge desire to come back. Thank you for everything.
I had several days on Terceira last May and 3 fabulous day tours with this company. As well as seeing all the beautiful scenery, sights and views we spent time visiting locals , which made our experience extra special. We met a dairy farmer and his herd and I milked a cow! We went to a small vineyard and had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon exploring and tasting his wines and liqueurs with the owner. We toured a small coffee and fruit plantation with the owner ,and his wife made us some of their coffee, along with home made cakes and tasting other produce. Ivo tailored each day to our interests and needs, including a whale watching trip on the first morning. We were lucky to see several species of dolphins and whales. We had very good lunches on each day at different restaurants. Ivo really looked after us and I would not hesitate to recommend this company.
The day tour was very entertaining, interesting and educational. Our traveller was top! The morning tasting and traditional lunch (soup, rice and braised beef, dessert ...) were also very good. All drinks at lunch (water, wine, beer and coffee) were free. - Don't forget bathing gear! My husband and I had a wonderful tour with Agna (spelling?). She was extremely knowledgeable about the island and a delight to spend the day with. She knew we liked to swim and took us to some amazing places. The lunch was one of the best we have had in the Azores and the tour of the coffee and fruit plantation was informative and entertaining. We highly recommend this tour.
Fabulous experience start to finish. Our guide designed a custom tour based on our preferences, and then adjusted more than once along the way as we heard about new possibilities. We were a party of 4 - 2 couples from the US - and this tour managed to leave us all loving the experience. Particular highlights were the oceanside natural swimming inlets, visiting a small coffee farm, and a stroll through the epic cypress woods.
We had the most amazing day! Ivo was our guide and we couldn't have been happier. We were treated like queens. Nothing was a problem. He tailored the trip to our interests and we never felt like we were rushed. Even though one of our stops was unavailable they substituted a visit to a local coffee and fruit plantation where we got to meet the very hospitable Philomena and Joe who welcomed us like we were long lost family. Don't hesitate about booking this trip. You will get your money's worth and much, much more! Great experience!
