08h00 Notre chauffeur viendra vous chercher à l'entrée de votre hôtel à Da Nang / Hoi An et sera transféré à Hue. Sur le chemin de Hue, nous ferons une halte gratuite à: - Pass Hai Van - Baie de Lang Co - Lap An Lagoon Quand nous arriverons à Hue, le guide nous rejoindra, puis nous visiterons: - Tombe de Khai Dinh - Citadelle - Pagode Thien Mu Puis déposer à votre hôtel à Da Nang. Vous partez à 08h00 et revenez à votre hôtel à Da Nang / Hoi An vers 19h30.

Le col Hai Van est l’une des routes les plus pittoresques à flanc de colline au Vietnam, où vous pouvez voir des arbres verts contrairement aux vagues dans la mer bleue. Au sommet du col, il y a les vestiges de l'ancienne porte fortifiée. Les bunkers américains et français du col de Hai Van offrent une vue élargie à la ville sans aucune montée raide. Au sommet, une petite station de repos est le point de départ de la visite de Hue à Hoi An qui accueille les visiteurs avec une cuisine locale et du café.
À seulement 60 km de Hue, la ville de pêche sereine de Lang Co. est réputée pour son incroyable pêche. L’incroyable plage de Lang Co a été reconnue en 2009 comme l’une des 30 plus belles baies du monde avec sa mer en pente, son sable fin et propre, sa grande vague. Les visiteurs peuvent goûter les fruits de mer locaux au bord de l'eau au restaurant, au bout des allées flottant au-dessus de l'eau. Par conséquent, il existe quelques sports nautiques offerts pour votre plaisir.
Vu de loin, le village ressemble à une bande de soie serpentant entre le col Phu Gia au nord et le col Hai Van au sud. Des arbres verdoyants, des eaux cristallines, en particulier l’image du nuage qui recouvre les montagnes rendent le village fascinant et glamour
Différente de l'architecture traditionnelle, la tombe de Khai Dinh a été construite avec des matériaux modernes tels que l'acier et le béton armé sous les influences occidentales. La tombe est accessible en grimpant 127 marches qui sont délimitées par des rampes de dragon. En montant, on aperçoit la maison de l'épitaphe et de nombreuses statues de mandarins, de chevaux, de soldats… dans la cour
La citadelle de Hue est l'une des destinations les plus connues de Hue et a été reconnue par l'UNESCO comme patrimoine culturel mondial. Le complexe du palais se compose de trois parties: la première est la citadelle qui a été construite de 1805 à 1832. À travers le temps et la guerre, elle conserve toujours près de 140 petites et grandes constructions. La citadelle a été construite à des fins défensives. La deuxième partie est la Cité impériale, la partie la plus importante de la citadelle, construite de 1804 à 1833 sous le règne de Minh Mang King. Cité impériale comprend plus de 100 œuvres architecturales destinées aux palais et aux sanctuaires royaux, destinées au culte et aux cérémonies. La dernière partie est la Cité interdite pourpre, construite au début de 1803 sous le règne de Gia Long King. La Cité Interdite pourpre a été servie pour le roi et la famille royale. La citadelle est l'un des symboles de la ville de Hue et un lieu de visite incontournable pour tous ceux qui viennent à Hue.
Selon une légende, Lord Nguyen Hoang rêverait d'une dame qui disait que le Seigneur viendrait construire cette pagode pour la prospérité du pays, croyant en ses paroles, Lord Nguyen Hoang avait ordonné de construire cette pagode et l'appelait la pagode Thien Mu. signifie "Dame du Ciel". Située sur la colline de Ha Khe, à 5 km de la ville, la pagode Thien Mu est la pagode la plus fascinante et la plus ancienne considérée comme l’un des symboles de la ville de Hué.

Enjoyed seeing the history of Vietnam’s kings and beautiful palace grounds and tomb. Stopped by incense village and tried my hand at making an incense stick. Visited beautiful pagoda and temple with important historical significance. Enjoyed lovely lunch. Tour guide Ruby did a fantastic job!

It all went very well. Because it was our first time to make a several-hour drive, we were expectant, but the driver drove safely and carefully. The only thing that would improve would be if he could communicate better in English. Our guide in Hué spoke well English, was very active and well disposed, available. We really liked it. ;)

Hue is a lovely town with a lot of history. The monuments and Imperial City were amazing. The driver was polite and safe. The car was clean. The tour guide Ruby was just amazing. She was courteous and knowledgeable. She really wanted me to enjoy the tour. She even brought a raincoat and little rain booties for me. Ruby shared both historical details but also information about the culture. She was an open, sweet, highly intelligent person and it was delightful to spend the day with her in this amazing city. She also took me to a local restaurant to try foods special to Hue. She really wanted me to try the salt coffee and that was super-fun to go to the coffee shop. The only issue is Hue is quite far from Hoi An and I did not realize that. Better from Da Nang.

We were super disappointed in the way BNT tour operator had organised and did not communicate anything until the night before of the tour only until I had reached out. The fact that there was no communication up till the night before the tour was very disappointing. With the trip to Hue being 3 hours one way, it was an awkward ride. BNT stated in their tour itinerary that there will be an English speaking driver howerever this is false advertising. The sight seeing places to stop over could have been better in the sense if there was a coffee shop to stop by or other options of scenery. BNT operator should also advertise the hours travelling by car takes as nowhere did it stipulate 3 hours until I was informed the night before the tour. BNT did not pass on the tour guide contact details to me so I could not plan or ask the guide and inform her in advance of the food requirement for lunch due to medical reasons. As a result we had to remove a few items off the list. We were very grateful that she was able to tweak some of the menu with the restaurant in such short timing. The restaurant we went to was super accomodating and the food was delicious. The highlights of the tour was the Tomb and Imperial city and the tour guide Trinh was absolutely amazing and accommodating. Her knowledge on the history around the Dynasty and Imperial City was absolutely enriching to hear. Heading back to the hotel we were informed that we would take a shorter route which was around the 2.5 hour mark. This ended up being 3 hours and 20 minutes. Overall the actual tour with Trinh in Hue City and the food were fantastic. BNT representatives lack of communication and false advertising resulted this tour down to two stars.

Just having that personalised one on one experience made this very long day trip worth it. Miss Trinh was extremely knowledgeable and had great English. She was SUPBERB! She went out of her way to ensure I had a memorable trip to Hue. Out of all the Viator tours I did this holiday this was by far the best!

The drive from Da Nang through the Hai Van Pass was amazing, Lapan Lagoon was a very picturesque little place we stopped for loads of pictures, met our guide Tom in Hue, very friendly, knowledgeable and personable. On to the citadel, what an amazing place to visit, then on to the Pagoda and Tombs, great day learnt a lot about Vietnam.
