Londres est si incroyable mais mouvementée, alors pourquoi ne pas avoir une journée de détente dans la campagne Anglaise plutôt, en visitant The Cotswolds & au-delà, sur un thème Downton Abbey visite. Nous visitons le château de Highclere, les terrains et les jardins, la maison de Lord & Lady Grantham, Lady Mary & le douairier (LES BILLETS CHÂTEAU / JARDIN NE SONT PAS INCLUS ET DOIVENT ÊTRE ACHETÉS PAR LE CLIENT) Nous visitons ensuite les magnifiques villages et campagnes de Cotswold que Downton Abbey a portés à nos écrans à la fois à la télévision et au cinéma et est un endroit vraiment remarquable. Nous nous arrêtons dans les magasins, les églises, les places du marché, les chaumières, les hôtels de village, les verts grillons et les roseraies. Le déjeuner peut être pris dans un Pub Old Anglais où vous pourrez vous détendre, en mangeant peut-être des fish n chips ou quelques bières locales? Ou nous pouvons vous emmener dans un salon de thé très Anglais Garden ... le choix est à vous et infini! L'après-midi est ensuite passé à parcourir d'autres campagnes et villages, conduit par votre propre «Branson», avant de retourner à votre propre lieu de résidence tout en écoutant la musique de votre choix.

Nous nous promenons dans le ravissant village de Downton Abbey à la lisière des Cotswolds et visitons l’église St Mary, la maison The Crawley, Village Green et voyons où tant de scènes ont été filmées dans la superbe ville de Bampton.

Visitez le pittoresque hameau de Shilton, qui est l'emplacement de la carte postale de l'image où M. Bates a été ramené à Downton lorsque l'accusation de meurtre peu recommandable a été portée contre lui par sa femme. Complet avec gué, jardins et architecture. c'est vraiment une belle étape.
Nous recherchons le pub le plus romantique de The Cotswolds où Tom Branson & Lady Sybil se sont enfuis. Swinbrook est, en soi, un joli village et nous pouvons visiter le pub et les jardins aussi, pour une bière, un vin ou un café.
En plus de l'expérience Downton, nous visitons / conduisons également à travers la beauté naturelle exceptionnelle de The Cotswolds dans n'importe quel temps restant. Cela comprend normalement une heure pour le déjeuner si nécessaire.

Steven Cahill was a tour guide from London to Highclere Castle. He did a fantastic job entertaining us with Downton Abbey trivia and all the fun things about the shows. He got us there in plenty of time to take our pictures at various locations throughout the property and bought us some biscuits from the gift shop. We had a great day!

What a wonderful day in the English countryside! Our driver, Frank, picked us up right outside our London hotel and carried us away in his spacious taxi (plenty of space for 4 adults! Even provided waters for us) We toured around various Downton Abbey filming sights to which Frank was very knowledgeable about and explained the history behind each spot. He also gave us the opportunity to stop at a few extra historic sights along the way that weren’t on our designated tour itinerary which was AMAZING! It was like two tours in one. He knew so much about the significance and the history behind all the sights. We stopped at a pub along the way for a delicious lunch with beautiful garden views before we ventured onward. I can’t say enough about Frank, our guide. He patiently and enthusiastically answered all of our questions and we just thoroughly enjoyed his company! It was like touring around England with a friend. Highly recommend this tour and any others with Frank!! You will not be disappointed. Well done Barry tours! Thanks for the amazing memories Frank!

We spent 7 days in the London area and participated in a total of 3 private tours. This one was absolutely the best! We are huge Downton Abbey fans, so this tour was at the top of our bucket list. I knew it was going to be fun, but little did I know it was going to be the best thing we did our entire time in London - and that is thanks to our driver and tour guide, Barry. He was super friendly and funny. He was very knowledgeable and started providing tidbits of information as soon as we were seated in his vehicle. He has been a cab driver in the London area for 30 years so he knows just about everything there is to know about London. He took us to beautiful areas that were not listed on the itinerary and we even got to meet some of the people that he has come to know at these places. He happily offered to take group photos of us at tourist points and even made sure we got to Starbucks on our way since we did leave our hotel for the tour before the hotel restaurant opened! We are planning to come back next year and will certainly book more tours. Hopefully we get Barry again! I know 5 stars are the norm, but I'd give Barry and this tour a million star rating if I could!
paula was amazing!! she met all our needs and adapted if we wanted to do something different. we asked her to do a few things different leave early later, etc. at different places and she did whatever we needed. She was knowledgeable and met our needs.
